Can you not download something from the XBL marketplace on a friends profile then put it on your own system anymore? Or did I just some how corrupt the data?

Well I moved his profile to my 360 to download AE and then moved his profile back to his 360, and when I load up the game it basically says addons are corrupted. I know you were able to do this for a while because I heard of tons of people doing it for CoD map packs and I have been able to share my ps3 add ons with other systems. Just doesn’t seem right that they would make it a profile specific item, especially in case you’re a multi-profile household. If thats the case they would have to buy add ons for each profile and something tells me they can’t legally make you buy two of the same thing to be stored on the same system, but I could be wrong.
Well if you buy dlc on your profile every other profile on that console can use it. If you want to use another persons dlc you need to do a license transfer (which you could only do every 4 months I think) otherwise every time you want to play AE you’ll need to be logged into xbl with your friends profile. Doesn’t work the same like ps3 sadly.

Unfortunately the times of shared DLC are over on the 360. All DLC, including arcade games and add-ons are gamertag bound. You could do it on Black Ops map packs for a short period of time, but it was hotfixed. I feel your pain. I can’t take MK9 anywhere to play online without recovering my gamertag to get access to the online pass. They give you a DLC code for it in the box but it’s something like $15 to get online functionality without the voucher. A bunch of games are doing that now. Oh well.
Well that is trash. Thanks for the info, guess I will just have to cave and buy it again. Might have to buy the game again too since these PoS “eco” cases have caused every game I have bought since their introduction to crack around the center of the disc. 
Oh the game is out on physical copy so you don’t have to buy super+dlc.

Any Mvc3 happening. I haven’t played offline in a long time. Arrived at the orange bar too late. I’m finally found a main team in Marvel (F’n sucks that Umvc3 going to change these characters). Magneto, Wolvy, Sent. I think this is a pretty common team in TX? What characters are common in Dallas? Anyways, I’m pretty sure I know almost everything about this team, except logan berserk loops, sent fly combos, to give a ppl a run for their money. Getting some offline MK for once in my life would be nice as well. I keep hearing that Johnny cage beats Mileena? That’s bolony. If she has ex meter can get in for free and build more.
