So… is next years Evo in Japan? Or is that an additional event in addition to Evo in the states?
It’s an additional event.
Eita fought GamerBee and didn’t know that Adon gets up quicker than the rest of the cast so you can’t do safe demon flip after knockdown. He kept flipping in and GamerBee anti aired him with rising jaguar every time. The akuma vs adon match up looks like 6/4 in adon’s favor so far.
“Rare footage of Daigo actually smiling”
Neways I think Tokido suffered from not being able to use the standing roundhouse into jab combo :o if you watch his vids on youtube he was probally most consistant using that combo :P… when he lost to Joe he did seem a bit to nochalant ;o
Ed Ma was there playing Juri. He knocked Marn out. Motherfucker has been a ghost since Evo2009 and he shows up here to knock Marn out? Good on him.
It’s weird, I love Daigo even though he can often be boring. But as lame as it is that he predictably wrecked house at Evo, I can’t help but respect the consistency. It’s inhuman. I don’t think anyone stood a chance against him this year. The guy seems like he’s on a whole different level.
Vangief and Dr. Chaos for MVPs, their matches were beyond exciting to watch.
this evo was overall HYPED!
i was hoping it would be gamerbee(adon) vs diago in the finals but ricky ortiz one hell of a player
Just finished it. Almost want to get it on a shirt.
thats amazing
Thanks!
i still dont know why everyone was rooting for Gamer Bee (Korea) for knocking JWong out. i thought most people would cheer for USA over whatever hate they have for JWong. i was kindve upset b/c out of all people, i assume JWong probably had the best chance of beating Daigo if it was to be them 2 in the finals again. props to Ricky O though, JWong mustve showed him the blueprint in using Rufus since theyre both EG.
People were hype for Gamerbee because it is always exciting to see someone push a character that isn’t used that often in top level play to it’s limit.
And JWong hardly “gave Ricky the Rufus blueprint”. Ricky is an incredible player by his own means, and being one of the two people to make top eight two years in a row should be enough proof of that. Just because they’ve both signed to Evil Geniuses doesn’t have anything to do with it.
