I don’t think Daigo’s A-groove is THAT good. IMO, he should have used Sakura instead of Vega. He’s always been good w/Shotos, so Ken is a good choice. It’s a given that Bison is in any good A-groove team.
He’s not bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
Daigo is better with C than A. And yes, having played with C more than A does matter a lot. Not only does it show he’s more comfortable with C, but it adds to experience. After all, how often has a console scrub with no previous tourney experience won a major competition?
Now lets look at the France video. As for Vega (Bison), he’s failed to combo after a guard crush, a dropped paint, a failed midscreen activation, a CC that he ended early, got hit after activation, and used meter to crush (in that order). So yes, it’s glaringly obvious that his A-groove is his best groove :rolleyes: . So much so that he switched to his natural groove when it counted.

I watched the matches between fabien and daigo they were very good. He seems to have eliminated the whole fear factor when playing in tournaments. I watched your yun matches they where very good too. what happened to the rest of the of the french 3s players?

Sup chunkis, I didn’t advertise this event much (I did tell Hon though) because I wasn’t sure Daigo would really come. It wasn’t really worth coming for anyway since the only tournament was GGXX#R, the rest were invite-only exhibition matches. Only Fabien and I played Daigo in 3s because there wasn’t much time. I wanna go to London when RBs or tournaments start happening again.
