I have noticed in the first (or second) match between fabien and daigo in which the former punishes a BLOCKED crouching forward with super, which i know is possible (and horribly difficult/risky/insane IMO in a real match), but i thought that it had to be a reversal. However, i dont see the reversal message appear on the screen.
BK, U do kara command grab? Ur yun grabbed from a mile away consistently. That thing owned me but didnt realise till i saw u playing again.

Just watched those casuals. Can u follow crouching fwd xx super with a fierce? I thought u could only do it with cr short.
Those were in DC, right? I think Daigo made some more errors there, like crouching strong xx super.

Mufasa: I thought the super had to be a reversal too, it’s weird. It looks like Daigo couldn’t block so I don’t know. I’ll ask Fabien, he knows more than me about reversing cr. forwards with Shippu.
Kara command grab is 6321 + HK, 4 + K. It’s only useful in Genei Jin however, because Yun’s regular sweep doesn’t travel forward. I wasn’t kara canceling in those vids, my execution was a bit off. You can still get ridiculous range on the grab without kara canceling anyway, it’s just that good.
You can’t follow cr. forward XX Genei with a fierce, it was just a pressure string. I think Daigo tried to DP or cr. strong and got hit.
Those were actually PS2 -look at the damage on Yun’s palms. Daigo is awesome but he misses sometimes too (for whatever reason, stick, console, fatigue, casual mood, etc… shit happens).

I know I’m over a month late but, I just had to comment on you guys.
BK and mymoza you guys both did great. I’ve never seen a Yun that good down in my area. You were great in my eyes. I can’t really say anything else except great job. I can’t really make a comment either cause I’m still kinda scrubish but, better then most in our area.
The best players in my area are descent at best. We usually don’t constantly win over the other but, we’re getting there. (I live in MD by the way. I don’t if any good players have come out from my state.) Maybe when SFAC comes for XBox I can play you some time cause that would definately give me some experience.
I’m not that deep into 3S yet but I’m getting there. Still practicing my kara throws, charge buffering and partitioning. I personally use Yang, Alex and Urien.

Good matches on cvs2 and 3s. Don’t know much about HF, but that looked a lot more one-sided. I can’t tell if Daigo was giving it his all in cvs2, but I truely don’t care. He was good regardless and so was Yamazaki.
Also, don’t post about “permission denied” messages, it’s annoying. Take the time and read through the thread. I got all the matches from links further down in later posts.
There should be more inter-country comp in Europe, it’s not JUST about FR and UK =]
