I think soon or later I will start playing this game because from this year tournament in Portugal most players requested CvS2 after the tournament finished and from the poll that we made a few days ago on EFT forum: CvS2 is the game with most votes untill now for the EFT 2005 (its on the very start yet) but then I guess that CvS2 will be there for next year… :xeye:

I hope the little smiley means you’re joking. It’s cool to see Daigo paint the fence and I appreciate the vids, but the only one worth watching was the final match when Daigo really tried.
About the US vs. Japan thing- Wong, Ortiz and Choi are all up there in most games, but nobody else is even close. Japan has Daigo, Ino, Nuki, Bas, Mago, Dan, Ver, Yuu, OTK, Shiro, Makoto, Tokido, and all these new random ass A groovers who nobody’s ever heard of. And that’s just cvs2. So we have 3 players, they have like 52.

Yeah. Even though Pyro beat Justin straight up, most people would put Justin at a higher world ranking than Pyro in 3s simply because he’s placed better at the major 3s tournaments. Just like how most people would place Justin at #1 in MvC2 even though Sanford just beat Justin at the latest tournament.
Judging from the vids Billy Kane did pretty well against Daigo compared to the other French players. Is BK the top ranked Euro player? Good job BK

The first 4 battles were very close to both sides, only the 5th battle was more on favour of Daigo side.

Daigo was playing serious from the beginning to the end.Before these match Daigo and Yamazaki93 did casual matchs and it was very close too !
After the matchs Daigo tells to Yamazaki93 that he could do pretty well if he goes to Japan.
There is allways scrubs that telling bullshit on is board (specilally about no american or no japanese matchs)

Thats bullshit man…###### Daigo uses C groove 10x better then jhe uses A groove…I’m sure that Yamazaki93 is a great player and he could waist me if he tried hard enough…however.
He is not on the same level as Daigo. Daigo probably JUST started using A groove. I mean shoot Yamazaki93 had problems with Daigo’s LACKY team.

Daigo is absolutely not x10 better in C groove that in A groove :xeye:
He have more experience with C groove that’s a fact, but believe me he’s still a monster in A groove.
He still can RC, he can do the CC, and most important thing : he still have his “incredible mind of the game”.
At Absolution, the Daigo vs Yamazaki93 match was very very close too ( Daigo played with C Groove ).
Before the “first to 3wins” that you saw on the vido, Daigo and Yamazaki93 did casual matchs ( 8-7 for Daigo ).Yamazaki93 had more trouble with Daigo’s A groove team than the C Goove one( A groove is quite difficult for K groover ).That’s the only reason why Daigo used A groove for the first matchs, he didn’t underestimate his adversary at all.
I don’t try to say that they have the same level,I know Daigo is better, but don’t refer to the last match on this vido.It was difficult matchs for Daigo ( on C groove as well as on A groove ).
I just think some people here talking shit when they say that “Daigo paint the fence” and that he plays serious just at the last match.
Good matches, best part was when Daigo beasted his whole team then Yamazaki lands 1 Cannon Drill and the crowd erupts. :lol: Someone tell Daigo to stop beasting the French.
I think thats true, even if Daigo is a better player… those fights were very close and the french guy could won (he was really close to beat Daigo) and the only fight were Daigo was in better position was the last one (he has a damn strong guile… even if his guile was in last we can see that its really hard to take daigos guile out)
It was 4-4 and then on the last fight Daigo won… it was not bad against one of the best CvS2 players.

Well then you don’t know what you’re talking about. Daigo plays C groove. When he plays A groove that means he’s not trying as hard as he could. It’s really simple. I’m not trying to diss your boy Yama93 but even he’ll tell you that Daigo’s not an A groover.
