Dad Calls Cops on Son to Teach Him a Lesson, Cops Shoot Son Dead

Yeah, because pastors’ kids have such a sterling reputation in many communities.

Raising a child properly does not ensure that said child won’t act like a shit. It only ensures that when they act like shits, you have grounds on which to say, “You know better.”

well it looks like he failed when he should of followed

Also, my mom called the police on me one time, when I was chronically truant. She called the chief of police, whom she knew personally, and went to school with, and he came by the house and talked to me.

I had days when I was legit sick, and one day junior year where I cut out of school early (but half the school did as well), but beyond that, that ish stopped.

But of course, I wouldn’t do that, unless I was sure I knew the cop. And I wouldn’t send police out looking for my kid acting like a shit. They’d be sitting at my house the moment he got back.

Should have called Animal Control.

Hahahahaahahaha legend

How the fuck can you be “in control” with this asshole running amok with a truck? Not only he rammed into the police car but also endangered all those people at the crossroad. What if the cop didn’t shoot him and then that kid will proceed to speed through another crossroad like he already proven he has no problem doing, crashes into another car and kills a whole family? The cop made the right decision to stop him by any means necessary. Fuck his life if he decides to throw them away with that behavior. The lives of the people around him were much more important at that moment.

He was 19, running red lights, and ramming the police with the truck. If the article wasn’t written to be so sensational, this wouldn’t be such a big deal.

Was the shooting justified? idk, maybe the cops could have shot out the tires and successfully stopped him. I think cops shouldn’t be trigger happy, but I also think shit like this can happen in the heat of the moment. I’m not sure if they are actually trained to shoot the driver in this situation. If they are, then I’d like to know why. I’d assume it would have something to do with the risk involved in the situation, and not just “because we can”.

Think about this though…the “kid” was clearly being a danger to the people around him and showed no regard for the safety of others. If the cops hadn’t shot him when they had the chance, and he somehow managed to drive away and kill someone, what would your reaction be?

edit: tataki beat me to it

you missed the part where it involved a father…

I mean, I think a tazer gun could have rectified this situation without him getting killed, but he could have killed people so…got killed.

Too much gta

Dude had a death wish

Dumbass probably thought he was playing GTA. This reminds me of a cartoon where a Superman ripoff went bad, and some lady asked him to get her son from out of a tree…and he torched the kid with his heat vision.

Police bout to get their asses sued!

When you ram a police car don’t be surprised if you get shot. You are now committing aggravated assault on a peace officer, your ass is getting smoked. What the fuck do you think is going to happen after that?

lolwhiteppl

Lesson learnt. Don’t smoke cigarettes. They get you killed.

This makes me sick.

after watching that video, lolol at any of you white knights saying cops should have done anything differently. They tried numerous ways to stop him, and he was a danger to the public at that point. He deserved a bullet buffet

ggpo

Yeah…

I dunno.

After watching the video, he was clearly driving like a loon.

But… maybe shoot the tires, or do something a little less fatal?

I can see that one white police officer from Higher Learning crying about this wack ass dude.

if cops tell you to pull over, then you proceed to plow through intersections, and smash into cop cars, you really don’t get to tell them to play nice when they catch you.

At that point, cops have to worry about keeping the public safe.

It’s also not exactly easy for random city cops to just shoot out tires as if this is fucking Hollywood.
