Also, where is that vid request thread?
Preppy is hosting all the dj-B13 Tricks of the Trade vids on his site. Chapter 10 is cyclops (34 MB) - shows his infinite and some resets.
GGG - d/f + HP is his straight up launcher
ill learn. tell me. i can PRACTICEā¦just like everyone else did with thier mag/cable/sent/storm/and all the other gods
Hey u might try to search some of the old threads for the cyke inf, pretty sure that they have some info there on the inf. Just click on the bottom of the screen where it says past threads. Go to the beginning. Hope that this helps.
yeah man thanks
Itās Frustrating
i got only to reps on itā¦its pretty bad assā¦but the timing throws u offā¦ u gotta speed up then slow it downā¦im still going thoughā¦watch out in ur local arcades :badboy:
cyc infinite is bomb, took me a while to get that shit down, I find the variation showcased on the team upset video (hosted on combovideos.com) to be much easier than the double jump infinite. I tell everyone that cant do the double jump one to do that instead. I got that one on my third try or so, the double jump one, well, that took me much longer. Once u master both, u can be a real flashy guy and put both into one combo, it looks cool. All in all, cyc is an awesome character and is WAY MORE than just an assist.
killa, that variation they do in the team upset video, how many characters does it work on?
shit is serious:looney:
Edit: that shit is WAAAAAY easier than any other infinite he has :]
What exactly is Cyke doing in the Team Upset vid?
Works on all except heavy and ridicously small characters.
But what is it?
Ok this is for those of you who want to hit cyc inf consistantly.
I made that combo thats in the vid because Iām too scrubby to do the other shit, (lol) nah itās just easier to do but my hommie Ron-O can do the hard one with no probā¦ There are diff variations of the inf depending on the character, or you can do the standard one which works on just about anyone and the only thing you have to do is change the timing on certain moves do to the fact that not every char has the same hit box but Iāll leave it to you to decide.
n.=Nuetral, and you will have to use his n.lk when coming down with the second part of the d.lk,lp- which should look like this- d.lk,lp > d.lk,lp,n.lk the nuetral lk is what allows you to superjump up to continue the inf.
First, Characters with medium size hit box: Cable, Doom, Hulk, Silver Sam, etcā¦
These are by far some of the easiest chars. to hit inf on so pay attention.
Launch ^n.lp_lp > d.lk,lp > d.lk,lp,n.lk > sj.n.lp_lp > d.lk,lp > d.lk,lp,n.lk
You can keep this up for as long as you want but I usually stop after about 3 reps of that and do a super DHC or something. If you really want to get fancy like i do sometime you add parts of the original inf in there also. Just take out the n.lk (air nuetral kick) and do** df.hk** like you would normally do and just mix them both in there to make it look flashy.
I sorry if this is a little vague but Iām in a rush and really have to go.
Iāll explain everything else latter but this should be enough to hold you over.
Practice, Practice, Practice!
Good Luck!
Thanks so much!
Alright, so just to clarify, itās:
c.lk s.mp [^ sj.lp sj.mp pause sj.d+lk sj.d+mp pause sj.d+lk sj.d+lp sj.mk land]
Is that right?
Yeah thats right. But on certain characters with normal hit boxes like magneto, storm, psylock, etcā¦ I find it easier to start the the air combo with
(^ sj.lp sj.lk sj.mp) and then continue the inf because it allows you to get higher than the char. which makes it easier to execute.
Incase you just want the infinites for cyc and not the whole combovideo, however its a killer video outright with a ton of interesting stuff going on, here is a vid I made yesterday for my homie with the cyc infs. Peace

I know this an old thread but I didnāt want to make a new one and make people mad. Anwayā¦ I canāt get the d.lk d.lk to connect even after doing the pause and I wanna try Bucketheadās where you start of sj.lp, lk, mp but where do you continue after that?
Iāve been messing around with cykes and the infinite. Iāve been having a lot of sucess lately with this variation.
-launch, sj.lp, lp, pause, d.lk, d.lp, pause, d.lk, d.lp, land, oc.fk, repeat.
Cykes infinite resets I found. Throw it in after 1 rep of infinite or something.
-launch, sj.lp, lp, pause, d.lk, d.lp, pause, d.lk, lp, land, FP gene splice xx SOB, DHC into hailstormā¦
note: the gene splice will hit from the other direction.
-Launch, sj.lp, lp, pause, d.lk, d.lp, pause, d.lk, lp, land, sj.lp, lp, pause, d.lk, d.lp, land, oc.fk.
note: you land and re-sj on the opposite side of the opponent.
The LP in bold are actually the medium punch attacks (uppercut).
man they are doing it so fast, it doesnt even look like they are doing the pauses. the most i can get off is, launch sj.lp lk mp pause d+lk d+mp then the character is at the wrong height, and the timing is absolutly bonkers. When it says to do a pause im thinking along the lines of the ironman infinite but in those vids they do it so fast and the pause is so fast too. Ah man i just realized i am pausing like it was the ironman infinite but ur only supposed to pause long enouhg so that u get the LK to come out so its a short pause shit. im gonna practice some more right now
