that’s df.hk (down-forward) or oc.hk (offensive crouch). Just hold down-forward and press roundhouse.

I Can’t Do It At All…I Need To Get It Down

Stupid reset/crossup I found on accident. I’ve been able to recreate it in training mode a few times on some opponents, though. I don’t know if its just something random of if you’ll be able to get it consistently…

oc.fk, sj.lp, lk, lp, pause, d.lk, d.lp, pause, d.lk, whiff d.lp, land, oc.fk [crossup]

I’ve seen sometimes that you’re gonna have to double jump. Is that really part of the infinite or an add-on to it? Im talking about the version I saw on youtube “Cyclops Infinite by Request” is the name of that video.

The double jump part is necessary - its not just for show.

There’s also a third method - launch, sj - dj jab one by magnetro.
It was on the Dhalsim DVD. Works on sent.

maybe its me but i cant seem to get the infinite on xbox for some reason. the timing seems to be off. I can do it just fine on DC. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Yes, I tried it for a couple of minutes at a friends house when the game came out and could already tell. They definitely fucked up the timing on air links. The d+lk link after a down chop comes out as a d+mk when it is not supposed to. Similar issue to ROM coming out as lk’s rather than mk’s on the way down, although that one is kinda backwards from cykes.

i have had trouble doing it on live… BUT i never did it on dreamcast.

Are the people struggling with it on Xbox running their Xbox on an HDTV? HD Lag might be messing with your timing. I’ve read that the game’s timing gets messed up when Xbox is running it at a higher resolution too, so combine the two issues and timing would be hugely altered.

Just to be clear, that’s not the issue. This is a bug in the recovery for secondary moves in the port to XBLA/PSN. This thread is theoretically dead, but since I’m about to link somebody to it: figured we should be clear on what happened. The problem with the infinite on XBLA/PSN is a bug in the game port, not any issue with lag.
