:looney: @ 2:25…y’all must be playing with each other alot

Playing ON PS1 small pads :looney:

i wish the pad players in VA played like D.R. pad players:sad:

if you guys could take a vid of you playing on pads, that’d be great. and i mean actually seeing your hands. pad players astound me, i’m just curious as to how you do all the RCing and CCs on a fucking pad. I’ve tried it before and shit just seems too hard.

Me too, how do you guys rc elec on a pad??

or maybe the offense is too easy to read.

just a thought.

haeuhaheuhs

Did he mean heehaw? Where I come from, that means something entirely different.

Keith, you’re such an asshole. <3

Oh, and the offense is pretty easy to read. It’s like watching a demo of martial arts or something where two people just go back and forth telegraphing their moves for the benefit of the audience.

Also…contrary to every video of these guys I’ve seen…K-groove should be attacking a lot more. There’s too much run up, whiff, back up…get in, hit, back up. Rush that shit down. That’s why you have run, small jump, and get hella meter in case you get hit.

They like to play in a very turtleish way, i cannot tell them how to play their game. Is not that the ofense is easy to read, is that they ABUSE TO DEATH the good recovery time after a JD move, and play very careful.
We will soon upload more vids, please be tuned and KEEP THE COMMENTS COMING :wgrin:

Unbelievable, but just once
we live in different cities.

Ah, I remember when I was at this stage of my game. I remember thinking that I could like…never jump in with an attack, becasue the attack would get JD’ed and I would eat a throw or a 2/3 frame jab for my efforts.

The reason people put this aspect of K-groove into an undeserved and high position is because the people are starting to get repetitive. It’s very easy for k/p-groove to take advantage of this and make you feel as if those grooves are overpowered (k moreso than p, obviously)

All you really have to do is find different ways of rushing down. The best way to learn different styles is to play other people and observe the way they rush down or turtle, and copy it :lovin: …unfortunately that can be a sobering limitation since not everyone can travel the world and meet other street fighters…=/

Just gotta confuse the opponent more. Try standing still randomly, without blocking (but of course, out of the range where you can get hit), or other little things…run in, but press your buttons earlier or later than you normally would…etc…

i like to see them jd sakuras shoshosho

I’ve already seem someone jding sakura’s sho sho but the person doing the combo was stupid enough to make the same pattern for like 3 or four times and then he just threw the super to stop de jding madness. Come on, you just stop doing shokens and mix it up with other moves to stop the jd timing.

Since JD is considered a form of blocking, they can just alternate the timing of shoshosho’. If they JD the first two reps, either slow it down or speed it up.

Great form of rewriting what I just said.
