you just wish you could rock orange monkey boxers like me
that was the most eloquent fuck you ever.
I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m sure they’re excellent players. Just from what I saw in the video I wasn’t impressed. One match doesn’t really mean anything.
Evil Elvis: Hopefully I can make it to Texas Showdown. I’d really have to start practicing cuz my game is just god awful due to lack of practice. As for the anchor, thats tough. I would’ve said either Bison or Blanka, but you said thats a no-go. Hmmm, maybe Rolento, but I always looked at him as more of a battery character to start out with…more of a pest than anything. He gets people irritated and playing sloppy. I don’t know, just a suggestion.
god damn…
And new vid up. The rush is coming.

They own us more.

i’m not trying to argue with you, and i meant that comment in respect to people using mid-tiers vs. top-tiers, not match-ups between specific chars. But either way, my point is just that, for me at least, if player x loses to player y, player y is better regardless of whether he is using beter chars or not. I didn’t mean for this to be directed at buktooth vs. ricky ortiz either, just an overall statement that, in general, i don’t like that argument, thats all.
on a side note, the only time i played buktooth was at svgl about a year or so ago and in the 6-7 matches i played against him, i dont believe i got past morrigan once, and im pretty sure i was using top-tiers, or at least 2, hehe (although to my credit, i did win the 1st round pretty decisively everytime…but it was game over after that)…
Talk about delusions of grandeur…
out of respect for this thread and the requests of kcxj and others, i’m just going to drop it. i could sit here and post a long drawn out rebuttle with lots of individual quotes and what not, but it’s simply not worth the time or energy, and it’s pretty apparent that we’re both set in our opinions. i guess i’ll just have to wait til evo (if i can make it out) to get my chance against japanese players in a tournament setting, then we’ll see what happens.
in response to the eagle comment though, i’ve been to one single tournament up in indiana (like a 5 man RR or something ridiculous) since TS5, and i used A-eagle. and i do feel like i know the intricacies of this game very well, but that’s another can of worms.
PEACE CYA AT FR9
I thought of using Rollie, and I can play him, just not that good.
If anyone cares to see more UMA, Orochinagi has a bunch of matches of him against random teams, notably desora. So you know you can watch that for more proof of how good he is if you want. ALso there is a new INO match on Crazyasskim!
How come I forget LAUGH! Nose Bleeds
Warren, damn man, you’ve improved drastically since I last saw you. Watching you play like that makes me wish I wasn’t in exile anymore; I miss CvS2 a LOT. Tell Darryl I said hi.
