For the N team I’d put Chun Li last. You could also try N-Iori, Chun Li, Sagat/Hibiki.
If you’re good with all those characters there’s a ton of variations you can try: C-Yamazaki, Chun Li, Sagat; A- Iori, Hibiki, Bison/Blanka; K-Geese, Hibiki, Sagat; etc.
IMO Kyo, because of his style being so rushdown and mixup oriented you can (not unlike Iori and Akuma) get away with more when your opponent can’t punish you hard (ie has no meter). To me it would make more sense to put him up first. IMO K-Rock does equally well in any spot but Kyo benefits the most form being first out of the two.

N-Yamazaki/Bison/Cammy, Ryu, R2-Sagat is ok.
N-Joe, Ryu, R2-Sagat might be better, don’t know for sure.
I agree with the Kyo starter, mostly because I think Kyo handles starter characters like Vega/Claw and Blanka better than Rock.

So typically I play C Guile/Ken/Sagat2 but my Guile is too inconsistent (I suck at that level 2 cancel) and I’ve been messing with a few people as potential batteries.
Chang is very interesting and very fun to play (not to mention unorthodox, not everyone knows how to play against him), but I severely lack experience.
Iori is probably who I’m going to start playing, but it seems like a waste to not play him in N. The biggest problem I’m having is finding a way to do ambiguous crossup roll without run after rekkas and a way to punish quickrise after rekkas without being in the corner. That and I feel like Iori and Ken have the same problem matchups so I’m kind of screwing myself in that regard.

Take Sagat for the vitality and variety. Chun is real good (I use her as r2 a lot) but she fights like a ratio 1 and you already have 2 of those character types on your team.
The best advice I can give you is to start Akuma. He’s a good character but minimizing the amount he fights ratio 2 - Sagat, Blanka is crucial.
Iori is so dirty in N-Groove…he might be top 5 in N-Groove imo (helps to RC jab rekka though) so don’t worry about him.

Characters like P-Yama and P-Sagat are good at first but get found out waay too easily. Sagat is still Sagat and it works but P-Blanka is crazy good movement wise, utilizes 2-in-1 parry better than anyone except maybe Bison, easier to parry because of his size and you can parry confirm hop super 
Blanka can fight anybody and is a good battery. ^^^^^Yeah and P Blanka moves around better than P Sagat.
I get “c.jab c.jab sonic boom” instead of level 2. But jab jab strong hurricane is no problem. Should have been more specific about that, the flashkick at the end is obviously braindead easy.
sounds like negative edge, the jab button is coming up as the forward motion is coming out. Try holding the second jab down so you only get the b,f,b,f+mk.
Alright, I read and practiced some of the stuff that you told me about with Mai, FSGamer. However, I need to know a lot more about what she’s capable off, like Team Positioning, best/worst match-ups (note that I still use C-Groove with her…just don’t really like N-Groove too well. Feels out of place…even though I still know it’s her best…but dunno exactly why…), and the like. I usually use Mai first in any team that I play, and usually it takes about 2 guys to take her down most of the time…but I needs to know all that I can about her. Anyone care to help?
It’d also help me for a faq that I’m doing as well, so…any help would be nice!
Oh, and Buktooth, I’d love to hear what you have to say about some things from my faq. I’ve read your N-Iori faq, and it’s pretty good. You have any tips about how to use other people (anyone can help with this one). My best (and favorites) are Mai (of course!), Dan, Rugal, Terry, Akuma, and Haohmaru btw.

true, i remember gee-o had a sick P-blanka back in the day. P-blanka/R2 cammy/rolento or chun (?) was a solid team. his P-blanka could actually handle ricky’s A-vega in the old NCR finals videos.
