A-Rolento,Vega,Eagle is too fierce
if you think all Sakura has is her custom, you’re insane.
Some of the best normals in the game, nasty (and safe) RCs, that retarded priority air kick, and her supers aren’t phenominal, but they aren’t bad by ANY means (including one that’s safe, the hurricane kick one).
You still will probably never see anyone in the US use her outside of A groove, but she has potential in pretty much any groove, although she has most potential in Roll grooves.
I don’t personally like using her, i keep Rolento/Eagle as my main batteries in my A groove team.
I just don’t think she is as big as a threat when shes in any groove except A-Groove. Outside of A-Groove I think IMO C-Groove would be her next best but she doesn’t seem as scary in C-Groove then she does in A-Groove. Its not because only of her custom but the fact that the custom blocked or confirmed your still taking a shit load unless you got inheret counters from the groove your playing.
That’s highly debatable.
I’ve seen and played against her used in every groove, including P and S-groove. I think she’s equal in them all, with C-groove probably being less useful because I can’t think of a reason she absolutely needs airblock, her level 2 supers do dick for damage, and she has a +7 low jab which is useful in a run groove.
The hardest Sakura I ever had to fight was in N-groove, but that might only be because the dude I was playing against was good though.
Overall, I think she’s a beginner’s character. Vega is better. Drop her as soon as you’re strong enough to operate without training wheels (or use her only as a specific counter to Guile or K-groove).

About Sak. I’m really only scared of her in A. Shoshosho does insane damage, where any other groove doesn’t match up.
But she is annoying as fuck. Just probally s.rh crossup into BnB…

So I went to the arcade today and I played some people., mind you I abosolutely suck on Happ (For some reason it’s p360…WTF) I like the soft sensitive touch of a japanese…stick and buttons…
So I was switching between A-Rolento, Vega, Eagle, and S-Bison, Ryo, Cammy, and to my surprise I got more wins off of S-team…
So, i recently switched to N from A, mainly out of boredom, and i have mostly been using akuma/blanka/sagat with a couple other chars mixed in. What i would like to do is drop either blanks or sagat (dont really care which), mainly because i just dont really want both of them on my team. Any suggestions would be helpful, im kinda lazy though, so if akuma is the only char on the team that takes much work, that would be great

Rolento’s CC is probably one of the easiest I’ve tried. The hardest part for me is just consistently linking the super at the end, and even that isn’t very tough. Nakoruru’s is actually easier, now that I think of it.
Oh, and if you decide you want to go for a harder char, try Hibiki. I still haven’t gotten all of her CCs down, but she’s still a blast to play in A. She has a ton of ways to get a good damage CC off, and the CCs look cool as hell.

If you want to keep Akuma up front, I’d drop Blanka as user. He doesn’t get the same kind of easy supers as he does in C or K.
Keep Sagat as anchor and pick up one of the following users:
Chun-Li, Cammy, Ken, Kyo, Rock, Geese (tops & high tier)
Morrigan, Ryu, Yamazaki, Vice, Maki, Yun (mid tier)
Any of those characters can be used as a user, but I’d really recommend one of the higher characters like Ken, Chun, or Cammy.
So, I’ve been learning this new team in the past couple of months:
N - Mai, Cammy, R2 Hibiki
I always use Mai as battery, Hibiki is usually anchor but sometimes I use Cammy as anchor. Here is the thing: I know this team can be effective in N & K and it can be a decent team in A. What do you guys think about this team in C & P? How about anchors? Cammy or Hibiki?

if your gonna play that team in N, leave hibiki as anchor. N cammy blows to be honest.
switch it to K (all chars are good in K) and make cammy anchor. cammy is a 100x better in K as an anchor
the break stock time is not long at all and doesnt give her time to do what she does best (walk in fierce, link super)
yeah, that team with k would be pretty decent. personally, i feel biki as an anchor is tough since landing big damage with her consistently is tough for anyone but a handful of players, but if you’re really good with her, go for it. you wouldn’t be the first person out there to make it work.
Lol, try connecting N-Nako’s level 3 bird super from a sweep, 10 times in a row.
For some reason, I can actually land the ending for Nakoruru pretty easily. Rolento’s ending gives me more trouble than hers.

Hello everyone, I just recently nabbed a copy of thias game and am loving it so far.
I’ve decided to go with K groove since it flows well for me as a player, but I need some input on the teams. Right now i’m going with k- Ken, Moriggan/Yuri , Cammy but i am open to suggestions as I haven’t developed any real skill as of yet with any. (Though landing ken’s qcb qcb + k consistently pretty much ends fights with the rest of the scrubs I play with.)
i went from c to k and i like but the only character i like and can use is rock k seems to fit him really well. any suggestions on how i should build my team around him and what order thnx alot
In my experience K isn’t so much about the team, but about putting the best individual characters together you can. This is why CBS (Cammy/Blanka/Sagat) is popular in K.
I usually see Rock as a starter or a middle character (mainly cause one of the big three are usually placed at the end).
K characters generally go as followed:
Sagat, Blanka, Cammy (top)
Hibiki, Geese, Kyo, Ken (high)
Nakoruru, Chang, Raiden and Zangief are also usually played in K.
You can basically play anyone in K, though pure charge characters seem to lose a lot of power. Try out what you like and find an order that doesn’t get killed by a Claw or Hibiki.
