Cammy, Sagat, and Blanka are great in any groove. Each is strongest in specific grooves, but can be used in all. One of the reasons they are named as a group/team: CBS.
You can try N-Iori, Chun, Sagat (the team I use). Nuki uses N-Akuma, Chun, Sagat. Shotos are all good in N. Of course, you always have the option of adding Blanka to your team regardless of which groove you’re using.

i need help choosing a clean-up charecters for my n and c groove teams :

c:iori,rock,???
anybody have any better teams
Sagat, Blanka, Cammy, in that order is what I recommend.
Also, Guile and Terry work a lot better in C, and Iori and Rock would probably work a lot better in N.

For your characters I would try to learn one of the Top Tier powerhouse characters: Sagat, Blanka, Cammy. I think Sagat and Cammy are good in both C and N. Blanka doesn’t gain as much from N. Any of those characters would work well for your last spot on either team.
Sagat is usually considered the strongest of the 3 in most grooves. Blanka is strongest in A, and Cammy is the P queen. All are good in K, but Sagat is probably the strongest for C and N.
Chun-li is also a good character in both those grooves, but is harder to use than Sagat.
Put Sagat as anchor.
Drop your terry and pick up someone new, hes not worth the time to get better with and everyone except for “fat” characters are too short for terrys bnb. you should really stick to one groove and one team before you try a bunch of other stuff. don’t have the people of SRK pick the characters for you, find what 3 characters you are comfortable playing as and stick with it.
i’m playing a rock sak hibiki i tend to switch sak and hibiki (with hibiki being anchor most of the time)in the anchor roll what matches should i have for sak instead of hibiki be the anchor, outside of hibiki vs blanka i have no idea when i should anchor hibiki and vice versa
also against who should i make sak my battery against that rock wouldn’t be able to handle
I assume your using that team in A-groove, Hibiki can take on Sagat pretty well as long as you don’t let him get in on you, Hibiki vs Sak, Bison, Yama, Rugal, and Vega I think are bad match ups, Bison and Rugal I know for a fact are bad match ups for Hibiki. Hibiki vs Rugal is mostly on patience to wait for openings from him to catch him on while against Bison its like murder unless you can pick your shots right and not get caught.
I think Hibiki also has harder match-ups with Cammy, though I don’t personally know if Sakura does better in that fight.
Iori/Morrigan/Hibiki is pretty fun. Morrigan is HARD to learn though. Is Buktooth’s Morrigan guide on Gamefaqs still pretty accurate?
Hibiki does have a harder match up against Cammy but its not at a total loss where the ratio be 7-3 in Cammys favor, its pretty even and slightly on Cammys favor. A-Sak is a better match up against Cammy.
P groove for life
Ok these are the teams i run with at shibuya kaikan:
- P- guile, cammy/rolento, (2)sagat
- C- guile, cammy/ken, (2)sagat
- A- rolento, cammy, (2)ken
I own ppl with my P-guile all the time, probably my best char, but grooves without parry feel wierd and i hate K cause of the defend parry…
other than that, what do y’all think about my line up. I know all of the parry-haters out there are gonna nag about it, but gimmie some adivce so i can beat some more japanese guys out here.
PS i win 50/50 against japanese players now in shibuya and shinjuku, REPPIN’ SAC TOWN AND THE YAY AREA!!!
That C team is really really solid. It’s a nice team.
The A team is fairly decent, and I don’t know much about P, so can’t help you there.
With the A-team Cammy should be front, her CC isn’t all too hot, and she’s a decent A-battery.

How long have you been playing CvS2, and what kind of work do you do in Japan?
I think P-Cammy, Kyo, Sagat is the strongest and most versatile P-groove team in the game. Rugal, Blanka, Geese, Hibiki, Rolento, and claw Vega are also solid characters in P-groove. I never heard of P-Guile though. How do you play him compared to C-Guile?

Drop your Terry for Sagat and set the default order to be C-Guile, Ken, Sagat R2 with Guile and Ken you can switch on who should be first depending on who you match up with. Terry is one of those characters you’ll get mad at for putting all the effort into getting good with him but he ends up disappointing you more then you want to mainly because his BnB which is like his only combo, and if whiffs on more then half the cast of CvS2.
Drop Rock for either Blanka, Chun, or Ryu. Rock excels in K-groove best IMO if you aren’t going to use Rock in K then use him in A/P-groove.
