How does the Akuma vs Blanka matchup fare exactly? I do find it really hard. I mostly just punish mistakes or get lucky.

not without parry/jd/airblock/meter. so basically blanka can rc ball u in your face whenever u try to do something, and akuma cant really do anything, when u have custom u can probably activate through a ball or something and try to go into custom maybe? blanka beats shotos anyway, akuma is just extra hard, ESPECIALLY a blanka.
A groove isnt really the strongest groove for either Vice or Akuma, akuma is alright in it I suppose but just takes alot of effort. He is one of those characters that has to get in and knock you down, that combined with his low health makes it sort of difficult to win sometimes.
I don’t think that Akuma can punish a blocked ball without a super fireball ready. If he can, it’s with block standing then jump forward roundhouse…try that, if it doesnt work, then no you can’t. If you can’t then yea if they just can RC the ball you are going to have serious problems.
Vice is a slept on character…she is good, although I wouldnt use A groove, she is a N groove character I think. If you do use her in A I would rely more on her lv1 super than her custom, her lv1 grab is really good.
vice is good in A but only if you can do her damaging custom, which is really hard, but it does a fatty chunk and can be setup easy off any low short you hit. But you know than you actually have to do the combo.
I think she makes a good a-battery, good ticks into command grabs.
OH and can’t you set up the CC off her hcb,f command grab?
lvl1 super?? Isn’t that a waste of meter for the damage? I dunno really, I never think on it. I’ll give it a shot though.
I like how I can at least punish a blanka ball with her though :looney:
kabukimono: Well, I’m working on that custom. I’m not to the point where i’m confident in doing the crazy MEM combo, but I can usually eek out a decent 5000-7000. Meh? How much does the full MEM custom do anyhow? If I could pull that off reliably, would she become a serious character?
How do you land the custom off a low short?!? I know I can land it off a tackle if I’m somewhat close to the corner, but besides that?
And yeah, the hcb,f+p is nice and easy to start a CC. Most people don’t know about it so it’s usually free damage. lol :looney: It’s kinda sad how I get most of my damage from their ignorance. But that’s the advantage of using Vice I guess? haha

K Vega/Rock/Geese–I sometimes change the 2nd slot w/blanka or cammy.
C Eagle Cammy Rolento–I usually play this in this order. But I guess it’s pretty interchangeable.
Would anybody be able to give me a little help with my team here? As of now I use C-Ken2/Geese/Guile.
My main problem is I still don’t have a fully reliable third person, there are about five or six people I can use for that spot (currently occupied by Guile), but I’m not quite sure what would be the most useful for the team. I would of course have to build up some additional skill with that person to get them on par with my Ken and Geese, but I’m stuck on what would be the best. Right now it’s all between Guile, Rock, Terry, Sagat, and Rolento. In all honesty I would love to use Terry but I feel as if he’s just far to weak in CvsS2 to actually help my team. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Hell Rock’s like the embodiment of K outside of K-Cammy/Sagat so long as you can make the most of his mixups especially with rage.
Vega’s always good and Geese has those nasty combos leading to 70 stun. Looks ok, though typically these days you’d see (whomever)/Cammy/Sagat (2).
Though Rolento could reasonably take out anyone I wouldn’t put him as your anchor. He seems best up 1st.
Can’t you do it off the tackle from anywhere? Something like short short tackle activate. Dp+K into TK’d blade kicks? or something along those lines.
I’ve played all the time in C or N, but i recently changed to K (cause my two mains, Kyo and Cammy kick ass in here). im trying to learn Hibiki/Geese or rock… Any tips?

On the plus side, all those characters listed there are good in K.
That’s the idea… I think ill stick w/ Hibiki, in the time been. she’s too damm good for opening/closing (lotsa counter matches against my competition 
) and K just gives me room to fight against FB Traps and lotsa more crap that i could in N.
K groove is the truh. How i did not see the light before!
Every groove Hibiki has a response to fireball traps.
K/P have a somewhat simpler way dealing with fireballs in general, but rolling Hibiki can easily punish and knockdown people who aren’t careful.
With the latter its an exercise in your execution with RC’s, but since most characters have about…let’s say 35 frames recovery throwing a fireball Hibiki’s got no problems rc run slashing through.
That doesn’t work ? I’ll try though. But I don’t think that works.
whatever into tackle, activate, s.strong into fierce tackle works if you are halfscreen or closer to corner. I only know of that.

I mainly use that team in C b/c of airblock for Eagle and Rolento, and for the Alpha Counters. I don’t think I’ll ever get P-Groove, cuz I’m much more comfortable w/hitting back(jd) instead of forward.

So is there anybody out there who can give me a suggestion on my team of xxx/Geese/Ken2? There’s a couple I could use, I just need to know which one would cover my weaknesses better. I could really use some help and since it’s been four days I figured I better ask again.
changed my team to: N - Kyo2/Iori/ryu, any tricks with these guys or pros that I can know of when fighting high tiers?
