Hey guys, it was great to fight against you. When I arrived in SF I knew I was going to play AE, but never expected to play one of my fav games of all time! The difference in level between you and me was clear, in particular every time I played against LionX I was asking myself: how did he do that!? This motivated me to keep playing and try to learn new things.

Next ranbat by my calendar should be November 11. I’d like to practice this weekend, having touched the game just once since September (FML).

I asked people what they wanted and some people said they would want CvS2 so I made the first tournament Street Fighter and CvS2. I would want this to be a good turn out. I have sticks for people who don’t have any and 6 PS2s to work with. All I need is getting the game for each one. It’s in San Rafael on December 16. I’m going to miss being able to take Muni to the tournament, but it’s only about a half-hour north of SF. For me, that’s the same thing as driving to downtown San Mateo.

Big change (besides the obvious): this tournament will be held on PS2. Please bring your stick, as there’s no guarantee there will be loaner sticks there.

you have to remember, pretty much all cvs2 vids come out of the Osaka/Kyoto region. At least back when cvs2 was relatively healthy, those players were weaker than Nagoya players, which were much weaker than Tokyo players.
