i tried going to south town last thursday, but it was closed around 7PM 
i wanted to train in cvs2 and meet new fighters (im new to bay area)
Haha. You can meet a bunch of OLD fighters if you’re looking for CVS2 players. Your best bet for consistent gaming in CVS2 at Southtown is at the monthly ranbats they’ve been having. The next one is on the 29th. I’ll be there for sure (maybe late, but I’ll be there), and a lot of other players show up regularly. Other than that, keep checking the PacNorth forums for other events and gatherings. A lot of the tournaments these days don’t have CVS2 as part of the lineup, but a handful of dedicated homies host side tournaments at most of them, so there’s a surprising amount of CVS2 games going on. Oh, there’s also Friday nights at MGL, but I haven’t been able to participate for a while, so check first to see if anyone is going. I’m glad to see there are still new people interested in my old man game. =)
