Hi just bought a R3 (asian version) limited edition Guilty Gear Xrd that included a cheap fight pad and it could have been great except the fact that the d-pad’s one of the worst i’ve ever tried.
So I’m wondering if I should tore it up and make a custom stick out of the PCB. Any suggestions or ideas? or has anyone tried a third party pcb on a custom stick, haven’t seen any as of yet.

Currently thinking about it. I haven’t opened the pad yet as it might be a hard to find item (hopefully… but i don’t really think it’ll be… but hopefully) as there are no (other than hori commander) third party fight pad’s out there yet.
According to this that fightpad is only available in Japan and as part as a bundle for the PS4 edition.
Don’t know who is the manufacturer… maybe later they will start selling the fightpad alone.

Let me correct my statement earlier. the dpad isn’t really that bad, although it’s not that great either.
Started unscrewing but ended up chickening out, I’ll try to find someone who’s willing to sell their’s and thinker with that. I’ll post and update everyone once I find one.
Worst that could happen is that you’re your of a pad you aren’t crazy about in the first place. Have you done a pad hack before?
Put the pad up on eBay since it’s a limited edition thing, then but a Hori Fighting Commander Pro 4 and padhack that.

posted a couple here before. most of the time I use cheap pcbs ($2-4 usb controllers) sadly there are no cheap 3rd party pads that work on ps4 at the mean time and I’m itching to use a stick eversince I got GG Xrd.

thanks for the tip. I’m actually looking for one in PPS, P2D and OLX.
But if I’ll be going through that route it’ll be cheaper to get a HORI PAD 4 FPS, which I think is already available here in our country.
I do want to point out that there already one incident where a Guilty Gear Xrd gamepad had the D-pad snap right off mid match at a tournament.

If that would happen to my pad, I won’t hesitate in opening it up.
Those cost more than FC4 Pros.

DB has theirs for less tha Php 2k, the FPS pad on the other hand goes for around 2.5k last I checked.

Checked db earlier and they only have FC3 at 1.5k. I’ll go with thinkering with this one. thanks

This pad does look good for hacking. Is it definitely common ground ye?
Looks common ground to me, but that’s without seeing the reverse side.
