I can see it for Piano technique characters such as Chun, Gen, or Blanka but even then, one of the best Chuns (the guy in the wheel chair) plays great on pad and with one hand.

Old characters have been around forever so of course they’re more popular and have had their fair share of light, but when you want something you created to progress… you need to take risks and adapt to modern day trends. Sure firebrand isn’t really well known in your eyes, but to people who LOVED ghouls and ghosts, firebrand was a trademark character and is even in MVC3 as a cameo in the ghouls and ghosts stage. He was playable and a secret boss in SVC chaos. He’s the logo on ghouls and ghosts!

I agree with Nemesis being a good add actually. I think Nemesis and Strider are solid adds with possibly Ghost Rider. Hes meh. Hawkeye should have been in this game since square one. They have every other Avenger…and then TM…but no Hawkeye?

Im pretty sure people still play most of these games casually(on and offlline), but I can say that very few of those games that are in a local circuit somewhere lol. I’d like to play Jojo’s and some other stuff more often
