Tetsuo-Who do you main/play in ST? Your Fei was pretty sick.
I’ve been playing fei long for the last 6 months, but the characters I play well are boxer and deejay. Noguchi and yuri are the top fei players in japan and watching them play is what is got me to use him. I stuck with him after I came back from japan and got to play yuri and was shocked at how well he did against the hawks.
I’d definitely like to play you more/get decent. Do you play on cabinets? ps2? DC?

Cabs only, but am willing to play on dreamcast since it’s the closest thing to the real deal. I can play you on ggpo if you want just let me know when you want to play and I’ll logon my login is the same (Tetsuosan).

DJ, I dont run Fei, but I try to play ST as much as posible. Im not on GGPO because mine doesnt work for some reason. I am on Supercade. Same user name there as everywhere else. I’m down to play whenever
Also, im calling it now, im switching to kenshi in MK with Kung as my back up.

I suppose the match should be better for Abel now that it’s easier to throw Dee Jay. However, Dee Jay is much improved, and Abel received only nerfs…so I guess we’ll see. I’m playing more Juri now, in any case, and that match is pretty bad for her. Regardless, hopefully we’ll play soon! I won’t be at the next Etc., but I might make it to the one after that.
Kenshi does look pretty cool. But you do know that all MK DLC characters are banned for this Evo, right? Kind of a shame, as I wanted to learn Skarlet. Will have to wait on that.
By the way, did you ever hear about my PS3 controller? Your help is appreciated.

The starting time will be moved to 5, which isn’t a huge difference, but time that I do wish could be spend playing fighting games.
Yo, lets talk about some real shit… Is anyone else annoyed with Mad Catz right now? I’m not feeling how Mad Catz used American dollars to save themselves and now that they have the joystick market on blast, what do they do with that money? They take it and sponsor ONLY Japanese players. They took the American dollars we gave them and are using it to pay for Japanese players to come here and take more of our money? I’m not saying don’t sponsor Japanese players at all, but ONLY Japanese players? At least Hori has both Japanese and American players. I’m not feeling this. I’m seriously considering getting rid of all my Mad Catz sticks and getting a Hori and maybe a Voltech. This has annoyed me for a while. They gotta sponsor at least one American player or I’m done with that company for good. Discuss.
Maybe if japan wasn’t raping us in every game right now, they’d pick an american player too.

This is a bullshit answer. Every player on Team Mad Catz has been beaten by American players. Also, a Japanese company like Hori can sponsor both Japanese and American players. Why can’t Mad Catz?
While I don’t disagree with you, it was really based on business. They will most likely bring on some American talent soon but they just opened their first offices in Japan last month. They are working on an expansion into Japan and Europe and I think sponsoring Japanese players was a marketing/business decision to help get them closer to the Japanese buying market. They already have the U.S. on lock with peripherals for Capcom and WWE, RockBand and their new High end gaming headsets. They want to increase their market share abroad and I think sponsoring Japanese players was part of their plan. I wouldnt be surprised if they endorsed a Euro player before someone from the U.S.
I don’t see how this is smart business. I don’t see why they can’t sponsor people from everywhere instead of just international players. When you want to save your company, go to the US. But fuck their players? The same players that helped save them to begin with? I don’t understand this. Players from everywhere should be sponsored including and especially Japan. But for an American company to ONLY sponsor Japanese players? Come on man…
