IMO the only game that needs true skill to be successful at is Guilty Gear. If you don’t know what you are doing, you will get fucked up beyond all that is holy.

Normally when I get bodied at a game and ask where I went wrong, the response I get usually is because I turned the Xbox on.

I don’t make an attempt to go to some of the gatherings because I have absolutely no interest in playing any game except two (Which one of the games not many people in this state play). So in essence it would be an extreme waste of my time and other’s for me to show up. I never said I don’t appreciate it since I actually love to hear when people do there own thing. Now I don’t believe it’s either mine or anyone else’s responsibility to go “Hey good job on getting a gathering going” every time someone hosts something. I’ve had constant times going on here posting that I was holding something at my house and got completely ignored because of a( again not many people play Super Turbo and b( everyone’s been so focused on responding to trolls.
I wish I had the time to make it to every gathering that was happening in the state. I really want to get back into AE, MvC, and MK(Justin can we play online? And, not to put myself up on a pedastle, but other than Walter, and a few others, I’m one of the most generous people that the CT fighting game community has to offer. I host anywhere between five to fifteen people in my small as hell basement with nothing but a fan and a few setups. And everyone who has showed up in the past knows they have left leveled up after coming to more than one.

All I’m gonna say is that the reason the people listed don’t post is anything like mine its because we don’t really care to get involved in the useless DJ garbage that get’s posted. People like me Needles and Iron Trigger could never make it to events and casuals because they are usually far out. So what did we do? We started holding our own casual sessions giving us Windsor Wednesdays. We had great turnouts of people with like 7 setups of multiple games going. So I don’t want to hear any of that bullshit.
I met many people off here just from Windsor Wednesdays alone. Just because you don’t know who people are doesn’t mean others don’t. And to see you post shit like that when we definitely put in our own work is frustrating as hell.
Anyways enough ranting I’m done. I’ll see you guys at the tournament next week in Stratford.
