It’s kind of funny but I used to dislike SSF4 and the way that the game was played but after seeing MVC3 for a while…I want to go back. The thing about SSF4 in general, is that you control everything that happens and it is always your fault if you lose. I feel like MVC3 has more random to it and thats what turns me away from it.
If MvC3 is random, why are the same people winning tournaments over and over?

If you dont think MVC3 has a strong random element to it you’re pretty crazy. Try accurately blocking against Wesker, Phoenix, Magneto, Akuma, X-23, or Jill in X Factor. UltraDavid and Floe agree that playing random against phoenix is a reliable strategy. There is some evidence for you. It’s nothing but guessing and hoping they drop combos because of how insanely fast they are.
Chris G, Yipes, Marn, Justin Wong, and Floe do well because they do not drop combos and they know how to cover there assists. Right now, the height of the meta game is abusing the DHC scaling reset trick. its dumb. No one finds that glitch dumb? Its cool?
Also, I keep seeing comebacks with 1 character left who saved there X Factor. (hangs head and sighs after watching GC14 matches) I keep waiting for people to see say and agree as a community that this is how X Factor needs to be used. Because, it is.
