I could see dropping from 1.3 to 1.1, or even 1.0 flat. But down to < 950 is kind of pushing it IMO.
they shouldve reduced his damage or have gotten rid of some armor frames. i think lowering health wouldve of been their easiest fix in terms of effort they had to put in, which might be why they just did that.
i can see clearly now the s-rank’s gone, there are no obstacles in my way~
ahem rather than evaluating actual power of character, it seems obvious that it was done just to shut people up talking about sent in marvel. the thing is people will always bitch and now they’re gonna bitch about something else. it was a nerf based on cries (enter reference here about the AE changes, putting honda low on list, nerfing blanka needlessly and other problems). we are less than 1% of their income when it comes to buying their game although we put the most time into it, and bring new people into the scene.
so who will the next person to bitch about be?
Also idk why people even play 3 tournywise, so much to discover it seems like the inventors of things have a huge advantage, which is interesting to watch, but to play, i feel like people are discovering things as opposed to perfecting skills, and winning based on that. it’s a change, maybe for better or worse, but it just seems so needlessly time consuming that it should just be played as a casual game, and other games should take center stage as tourny games.
So now Wolverine does more damage, is faster, has insanely easy mixup and has more life than Sentinel.

sent’s problem was never health, in fact he needs that, (sent only combos, instant overheads,etc) his problem as is everyone’s is retard damage in xfactor. the reason his is a bit more over powered is sent/hulk do the most damage in the game, but unlike hulk he has so many ways to combo into into his own supers and do massive damage, and take out entire teams. if hulk could do that in xfactor everyone would complain about him.

Wolverine is incredible in MVC3. He builds so much meter and does so much dmg without wasting a bar…ever. I rarely use Hypers with him at all. His bnb is amazingly dmging and he has so many ways to close the gap and put you on the defensive. Plus, lvl 3 X Factor with bersker slash is insanely hard to block. I love having him and Akuma on my team. Akuma really does compliment him so nicely after his DF M attack to continue his combos, they both don’t need to waste meter, and they both can be anchor at the end and amount comebacks because they are both INCREDIBLE in lvl 3 x factor.
Basically, I judge how good characters are to some degree by how threatening they are in X Factor. Jill scares me. I’ve been playing a good Jill on XBL recently and she is fucking nuts in lvl 3 x factor with that speed hyper. It’s really hard to block. like…really hard.
I really am sad with what they did to Sentinel even though i can’t stand him. He just needed dmg reductions. That’s all. Anyone who drops him now though, is lols. It will scream, “I only play broken characters” all over it. I can’t wait to see the amount of players who drop him. It will show your true colors. He’s still an extremely solid character who does great dmg and has one of the games best assists. People who drop him are the scrubby sentinels, basically. There is no way he is a “bad” or non tournament playable character now or anything. His dmg is still great, x factor, hyper armor, combos are simple, etc. People just have to THINK while playing him now. He’s not Gief mode.
