I talked to hao today. he told me that he saw the tech recently (not the one that som and i saw) and he pointed out the stick performance to the tech. Hao showed the tech that he cannot triangle jump diagonally and the tech tried it out and said “it works fine”

I dropped by the game room after my final.

Cvs2:
-1p MK button is 100% out of order. “works fine” right?
-stick delay on 1p and 2p side
-2p can’t jump foward still

Mvc2:
-qcf motions require 2-3 qcf motions to work
-1p jab button still shitty for the last 2 years. “works fine” though.

After all the recent observation, i decided to send dave pope a final email.

For the sake of simplicity, I will omit a majority of the details. Over the passed weeks that we’ve worked with you, we discovered that the problem does not lie with the lack of communication. It is to our understanding that all our request and comments do get through to patton vending. The real issue lies with the standards of the technicians. To us, a quality of the game depends greatly on the quality on the sticks. I thought that if i personally talk to the technicians, we would get something done. Through my experience, the tech does not understand, realize, and/or care about the customers. When i saw a delay in the sticks response, i pointed it out to the tech, and the tech would try it out and say “works fine” and ignore me afterwards. I was told by two other members of the community that they confronted the techs and said “please check so and so” and immediate response from the tech is “it works fine”. sometimes they don’t even bother double checking.

This kind of quality of work leaves me to regretfully say that i will be discontinuing our email responses. I feel that further discussion and explanation would be a great waste of your time as well as mine. On behalf of the community, I thank you for the effort you put in and i apologize again for the request of the 360s. I believe there is an obvious lack of effort on the techs. Not only do they not know what “delayed responses” are, but they blindly overlook a broken button on capcom vs snk 2 for the last 5 days. The button is 100% out of order and if daily maintenance cannot keep simple things like that updated correctly then there is no hope for quality performance.

On the bright side, i anticipate a lot of new faces in the game room to continue playing in hopes of future improved performance. As a sign that we did not intend to harm your business, I will not tell those people about the tech standards to ensure that your business does not suffer from our 360 request.

Does any body have the installation disks for wc3: RoC and FT? and CD key ^_^and don’t mind me using it for summer?

i found my “Play Disc”. But i no longer have my installation disks. I look forward to playing some casual Dota. =)

Short is also on the fritz for the MvC2 cabinet on the 1P side. And the rest of the broken stuff has been listed already, I think…

Damn, well I guess I’m not playing CVS2 at CSUS then I just got my car and was going to make my way down there. Thanks for the heads up.

I’m about ready to cry reading about your struggles with Patton Vending. Like literally, I feel really sad. Sad because I can totally imagine people like them existing and giving people who care no concern. God…I would hate to be in that position. I don’t even go to CSUS. It’s too sad, though, to make a joke about it, like “haha at least I don’t go there” because it really is sad. Why are their workers such rude people???
