Can people bump my reputation a bit for the art? I’m doing the same for the other artists at SRK- folks seem a bit more level-headed here.
I wouldn’t mind a few more green squares since I’ve been here since '02…:karate: Figured this is the place to ask.
(I’m lucky enough to be doing art for a living the past few months- Flash shorts, graphic novel concept art, and now Photoshop texture maps for an indie video game)

sweet. I’m not sure how his armor should look either. Looks right on your Pot though. The head looks a little too sunked in. I know it’s part of his look but it looks kinda unnatural there.

only Premium members can rep, and seeing how most of SRK fanart is non-Prem (apart from Chibi and a few others) I think that’d be hard to do. Artist list is linked to the one on Ron’s (ChainWhore) CSFAC site, so I guess you’ll have to wait until he pops in again.

Pot looks really imposing, just like he should. DFist is right abt his head seeming a tad too sunken though.

vega-x: you are really trying loads of diff styles in this GGXX challenge! that’ Millia is kinda cool… only crit would be to darken the shadows of her hair, right now it’s too close to the midtone.
Sheng-Long: reversed pic looks great with the pink-purple-yellow coloursy ou’ve got there.

Thick guitar or no, that’s my single favorite piece out of everything in the contest so far. Colors, shading, and anatomy are all great.
Your Potemkin has nice shading and the perspective adds some menace. However, the face doesn’t look like him to me, it’s more feral looking - I think it’s the pointy ears and sharp eyes.
Sheng’s RoboKy is pretty sweet but I’d like to see it without the inverted crazy colors.
I have a soft spot for black and white pencils on neutral paper, and Dreaded Fist’s Potemkin works it well, especially the subtle highlighting. Defining his left arm all the way wouldn’t have hurt. The Slayer’s even better, although I think a dark shaded background would have suited the mood more, maybe with some noir-style window-shadow bars in the back.
