I have an Alienware M11x. It can’t play it to full and a few times I had to tweak the settings to make it play but I still had the vegetation! (iirc i had to turn off a couple of effects to make the game run smoothly. I forgot what frame rate I was getting.)
I never play graphically intense games without being plugged in so who knows. Two hours tops I guess.

Of course it won’t look any where near as good as the PC version but it still looks better than blops, the campaign was a lot more fun than Crysis 2’zzzzzzzzz
So console players know Crysis 2 wasn’t as good as Crysis 1
Yeh and maybe if they include some sort of crysis 1 multiplayer in Crysis 2, people wont stop playing it when MW3 and BF3 land

I like how the news that Crysis is coming to consoles immediately sparks PC vs. console discussion whilst everyone forgets that it’s just a straight up good game in its own right regardless of visual fidelity, and far the superior of Crysis 2.
Everyone’s comparing max settings PC shots to console shots when their own PC’s could probably only run the game at something close to console presentation.
Well in my case my pc runs Crysis on max with zero issues. But then I must admit my PC is pretty damn powerful.
Can’t wait to see how shitty BF3 looks on console too.

It would be sweet if this port offered the Crysis 2’s change of how abilities worked. Crysis 2 did improve that at least.

I never get to play Crysis 1 because of the heavy system requirements. I really wanted to play Crysis 1 I just need a very good PC. What PC do you guys recommend I should get? Please reply ASAP!!!
There’s actually a huge problem with this. See, a lot of gaming websites and enthusiasts only want to run the latest and greatest at the very highest settings possible with the best shit out. You will see that a lot of the benchmarks reflect this. Crysis however, is a game that scales very well with the settings (and with hardware). When I played the game with an 8800GT (came out october 2007), I was able to play the game very well on medium/some high settings and keep it above 30FPS (which many found acceptable for this game as long as it was constant) and was able to enjoy it. I now have a GTX 460 and the game looks amazing. A lot of people complained that the game was “unoptimized” so for Crysis Warhead they just applied a bunch of tweaks that just made the game look worse for the sake of performance and while some changes aren’t noticeable unless you look for them, some are (horrible item pop in when you move around, had to change it to Crysis 1 values because it was obvious as hell).
