I’m pretty sure it does. In fact I’m doing it right now.
Honestly, I think os MP shoryu is better because it covers both ex psycho and devil’s reverse. Using hp will have it whiff against devils reverse.
Wouldnt the invincibilty last long enough on the ex scissors though?
I did f throw, dash dash, j. :hk:, OSing :hp: SRK, it beats Scissors, Psycho Crusher, Backdash (not sure on this one, but it did beat on training), Devil Reverse. Didn’t recover fast enough to attack bison after Stomp Whiff. It will beat U2 with proper spacing.
Did the same setup OSing :mp: SRK and it traded with Psycho Crusher and Scissors, won against backdash and Devil’s Reverse, Recovered fast enough to :d:+:mp: after Stomp Whiff. It also beats U2 with a proper spacing.

Not much point asking for a critique of your Akuma, and then posting videos of you winning.
Why? Winning in no way means you didn’t do something wrong, there’s always room for improvement.
This.
Anyways laughter, i’ll post in the video thread next time if it’s bothering you
Not much point in asking for advice when you’re losing either. I mean, if you need someone to point out WHY you lost, then maybe you should put the game away for good, unless you’re just, just starting out with Akuma.
Superlollo doesn’t look like he’s a beginner and so it would be normal for him to want to know what he can improve on even while he’s having some success. You can’t go from failure to perfection. You have to enjoy some type of success so that you can evolve that into more of the same or better.
I think that would be best for everyone concerned. Thank you kindly.
Got some replays in some bad matchups recently. Although I don’t like to say it, I lost some due to execution problems. So yeah, training mode all over again.

Here’s some matches I had recently with Mac SRK. It wasn’t a true set since there were other people in the lobby. From studying this match up I came up with a new style for fighting Ryu that I believe makes it a 5/5 match up. These matches were my first time implementing it. Criticism is welcome!

instead of critique your akuma. might as well critique that balrog…
that boxer need to implement backdash in his wakeup or focus backdash or just block.
coz really it will escape your attacks better and akuma on the other hand will have to up their game with doing sjos.
for a 10kbp boxer. he kinda fails in a way.
why you’re using U1 vs boxer?
I’m assuming either he’s not too comfortable with OS U2 (like me), isn’t aware of it, or prefers the damage+properties of U1 (I miss sweep xx U1 when I don’t pick U2).
I think that’s what most players still use vs Balrog, ex rushes = free ultra, plus you can cr. forward AA ultra his jump ins (I haven’t seen much of superlollo’s videos, but he’s really good at using AA U1 from what I’ve seen, guess that’s why he’s using it).
Terrible Ryu.
Why not? Bait rushes, jumps or TAP with fireballs, Demon his ass for it. Besides c.mk AA Demon, you can also buffer the Demon into RH which is what I usually do.
but boxer can’t do anything on wakeup against os DA
