@ Excessum, Also, I’ve noticed you and a LOT of Akuma’s are waking with multiple cr.MP. I specifically look for that now.
It’s true, you see it a lot now, from some Ryu’s as well. I tend to use it along with c.lk + c.lp. So if they go for a throw, it techs. Sometimes they put something out that makes my c.MP come out for a counter hit, but I don’t capitalize on it which is something I have been working on to try and improve.

A couple of things.
I would try to incorporate a fireball at the end of your blockstring just to get that little bit of chip damage. I find it works great for mind games. If you just use normals then they don’t lose any life. Once you start to chip away at an opponent it makes them ‘do stuff’ which is good because you can read it and punish.
Also, far too many random shoryu’s. If you must do them, then use the LP variety so at least you aren’t as vulnerable. Honestly though, you need to just use them waaaaaaaay less. I know because I had/have the same issue. I am slowly weeding them out of my game but old habits die hard.

^ you don’t want to end your block strings with fb against good players very often because they will FA through it and at best you’ll have to tech a throw and have given them some revenge meter and at worst you’ll take a huge combo and a knockdown. Thats why you don’t see good players using akuma end with a non-EX fireball EVERY time (also there are plenty of moves, such as EX scissors that will easily go through the fireball for guaranteed damage).
Dude, you played good. You came close to taking the first round, that’s alot better than most people can say they’ve done. If I played Daigo I’d probably SRK thin air like a flowchart’er. Be proud

I have a vid up on my YouTube. It punishes cr.mp xx Hadouken and cr.mk xx Hadouken from Ken and Akuma, and cr.mk xx Hadouken from Ryu. Even if they are 100% perfectly spaced and combo’d, it doesnt matter. Reversal U2 blows through it, so just be careful against Ibuki

Had a match the other day against Raeli. Made some mistakes but I thought I did alright. Pointers as always are welcome
How exactly do you do that fireball to demon? I cant get the demon out after the fireball.
For Super you can mash out demon immediately once the fireball comes out. For Ultra you have to delay the input till the fireball has traveled 2-3 character length away. Go to Training till you get the fell for both. They are easy.
After a far s.HK against Abel or other characters with big hitboxes it would be better to do s.LP c.HK or c.LP xx LK tatsu c.HK(Abel and Dudley are the only characters with a large hitbox that the tatsu > sweep doesnt work on though. for the knockdown instead of c.MK xx hadouken. Another thing I noticed was after the back throw you tried a cross up tatsu but after that throw there really isnt enough time to space it correctly, overall you played pretty well and hope this helps a little.

On a blocked green hand can you punish with hp srk? cuz you did and I wonder if it is gief’s mistake or there are actually enough frames to make that possible.
Non-EX green hand = Unsafe on block And on hit, so you can punish the Gief player if he used it in a combo or something, Giefs usually just use it to get close to their opponents
EX- green hand= It knocks down on hit but it’s very unsafe on block, you can punish it with standing fierce combo, you can just SRK if the connection is laggy so you wouldn’t eat a mashed command throw.

All green hands are unsafe on block. I could punish harder than that, but online I get tired of mashy scrubs pounding out 360s.

I really need to learn my spacing for cr.mk xx lk.tatsu. I go for the fireball a lot cause I think the tatsu is gonna whiff. That and I think Im too predictable
Found out there is a decent scene down here in Charleston, so hopefully I’ll be getting practice against really good players and level up my scrub Akuma

thanks, cuz I play with a friend who mains gief, and mashes green hands and then follows with SPDs, and I don’t know exactly what I can do against it. I usually either jump backwards and MK or after I block it, I do a cr.MK, light tatsu, fierce dp. But when i try to jump over him the SPD I think auto-corrects or something and catches me, and in a weird range. I should put a video of one of my matches with him one of these days, so you could help me If you have time.
At the very least you can use a SRK to punish. You actually have enough time to hit with a s.HP combo if you react to it, but online I always hate the fact gief players mash 360 and occasionally catch you off of the BS.
Though also be careful, a good gief will FADC out of it.
