Actually the rocky timeline kind of kept up with present time I think. Rocky 4 was in 85 so I think the age of MBJ could work.
Its funny because I was just watching Rocky 4 a few hours ago. And in all honesty in the entire series I think you see Apolloâs kids maybe once or twice in the entire series and they are just running around the house.
Rocky 6 took place in 2006 which is about 20 years after Rocky 5. It fits.
Rocky 5 was 1990. so it fits perfectly.
Pretty sure Rocky 5 takes place immediately after 4 with only a year or so passing.

Rocky V makes no sense timeline wise anyways. In the beginning of the movie it shows him coming home from Russia immediately after the fight against Drago and his kid has magically aged like 5 years since the last movie.
He comes home and is forced to retire due to the damage in iv.

It was just poorly written. Should have just skipped him coming home and just had it start 3-5 years later and go from there. Even Stallone admitted to saying he fucked up with Rocky 5 because of all the inconsistencies with the movie.
