Rocky Balboa was pretty awesome, and had all the memorable qualities that made the other movies so good. Soooooo happy he made Balboa. Now THAT is the way such a character should go out.
I know every movie franchise has to have at least 1 dud but, Rocky V was so utterly disgraceful and depressing. They really should stop printing that movie altogether and pretend it didn’t exist. Its also the reason why i’ll NEVER buy the boxsets and get the individual releases instead.
And Rocky owning a restaurant is better than being a meat-packing plant bum. And those weren’t “sob” stories, so much as they were retelling his customers stories of his glory days if they asked.
