CPS3 Broken!!!

there is a program called autoit that can simulate key presses… that is as close as ur gona get.

Autoit is capable of doing the job, but the timing isn’t consistent. Sometimes I get different results from running the same script, which isn’t good when you’re trying to do impossible combos. Oh well… it’s probably the best I can get.

i use to know a way that you could make autoit support miliseconds… you’d have to search for it… that should fix your problem.

It’s sleep function takes an argument in milliseconds, but it’s not consistent. The problem is that the frame rate that Mame runs at isn’t perfectly consistent, and autoit isn’t aware of these fluctuations.

Hopefully I’ll get lucky and my combo will work. Thanks for the tip, Shodokan

do any of you think the boards that run CvS2 and MvC2 will be cracked anytime soon? emulated?

probrably since DC was cracked

I cant wait till that day comes when CvS2 is finally emulated on mame, that is gonna be the happiest day in my life…

arcade perfect 3s + cvs2 + mvc2 = gdlk

Amen.

well we already have all 3. or close enough to it. and if the naomi was emulated, people would complain about the emulation.

yep, damn people and their complaining

Would you play something running at 2 FPS ?

Maybe if you didn’t have such a shitty PC you wouldn’t be running at 2FPS. I get 100% all the time. Complain about something legitimate, like input lag or missing sprites.

ORLY ?
ZN-1/ZN-2 uses a 16.9344 Mhz CPU(Almost 17 Mhz), and they run like crap in MAME.
Now, pick NAOMI’s 200 MHz CPU and the 45 MHz sound CPU.
Would it run at a playable speed ?

How ?
NAOMI isn’t emulated yet.

shitty pc lol, kids these days

Hell yes. The day Marvel gets workin’ is the day I pick it back up…screw 3s

Sorry, I was talking about the DC/CPS3 emulators.

Yeah, I guess you misinterpreted the meaning of my post…
…and I lost 1000 rep points thanks to that.

Forgive me for being a noob at this emulation stuff. But what is the excitement for?
I have a New Generation CPS3 Board. What can I do with it? :wonder:

You can keep it, sell it or you can rip the CD and dump the security cart.
BTW, could you tell me the numbers that appear when you turn the game on ?
