Hmm my plug-ins folder does indeed have DLL’s, but is there supposed to be a scanline DLL’s within the folder?
yeah after showing all that promise, ElSemi’s emulator has become somewhat of a disappointment. i mean, sure i love it because it works on my computer, but there’s a lot of things missing.
“unload rom” action was something he took out, why? it made things so easy to switch games. now you have to close the freaking emulator to switch games.
as spinning beat said, pausing is terrible. i have to keep pressing the pause button until it actually pauses. it’s almost random. and if you talk to somebody on AIM while your game is “paused,” it keeps going.
and, no netplay. netplay would’ve been freaking awesome with his emulator. :tdown:
There are a few scanline DLL’s in the plugin folder:
genericscan.dll
scale2x75.dll
scanclear50.dll
scanclear.dll
Check the Video -> Filters option in the emulator to change the filter while a game is running.
We should head over to the Nebula forum and ask Wesker/Elsemi why netplay haven’t been implemented yet (both in English and Spanish, lol).

Whatever suits your eyes really. I use 2xSai in MAME which isn’t in CPS3 emu which I don’t use anyway because of the lack of netplay.
str[e]ak - wtf man, does what it says on the tin, theres only 2 out there and its fucking better than mame, if u playing sf3 on keyboard then think again and since ur playing on joystick u wont need aim, besides he has states so u can save and load.
and reopening doesnt take long.

Does that last part mean we can use our own graphic filters by putting the .dll files into the plugins folder? Sounds like it, but I want to be sure because of the wording. 3S looks nice and arcade-like with the “unfiltered scalines 50%” but it seems a bit dark. Would it be possible to find a .dll file for an unfiltered scanlines 75% filter and use that? I have a feeling it would brighten it up a bit.
I THINK if u open plugins.cfg and specify % of scanlines etc u can than choose custom filter in filters and should work?
I’m sorry but I need help to get this running. I changed the screen resolution in the ini but it still crashes as soon as it loads. Can anyone help me with this? I have the proper romsets and everything. Thanks in advance.
Hmm, I don’t see a custom filter option. It does have “configure filter” but when I click that, it gives the message “nothing to configure.”
That’s the cfg file. Any ideas on what to put? I tried various things but nothing happened; when I start it always has the unfiltered SL 50% selected that I used before.
