Can someone help me out lol.
Uh, I downloaded the files from the site db link, so what do I do next?
Heh, looks like there’s a Mame32k + after all.
Anyone have frame rate problems? The game plays fine but it seems much slower online. Tips?
I stuck Anti3D’s Kaillera in the Mame32k dbfury made and it works. Awesome way to get a fast servers list.
Is it choppy and slow or good?
3S isn’t a game where you can play well with lag.
The emulation is just about done, with only a few, graphical (i.e. visual) problems to iron out. It’s the ONLINE that hasn’t been worked out. Hell, from what I gather, the only people implementing online aren’t even the same 2 guys who emulated CPS3 in the first place.
yea, I can’t get a good game in.
I managed to actually start a game with one other person just one time before. Then my client would just lock up and it did it twice trying to play him.
All the other times I couldn’t even sync up with anybody. Dunno what the problem is.
I play just fine but just with lag and frame rate problems.
Hey guys, I can work sf3 offline, but I cannot get it to work online. What’s the deal?
click on properties for a game on the display tab set te frame skipping to automatic,
that my help.
and thank you so much whoever posted that link.
done
Nice job, but is the joystick support option blanked out for anyone else?
Edit: Oops, nevermind. Had to plug it in first! Oh yeah!
I found out where my slowdown is coming from, My cpu is overheating.
That’s what I get on my comp!
it works fine on my bro’s laptop, but on my older comp it says the same exact thing using the Elselmi’s emulator?
Yeah, we need help
Wow, just played some games with rythmic, awesome games, on our private server, barely any lag, a little choppy though here and there.
Just played 3rd Strike online via Kaillera with a 15ms ping.
Some people are really good at parrying even with the slight online lag. One guy was parrying all of my fireballs and hurricane kicks and another parried a fully charged Denjin Hadoken
Parrying COMPLETELY changes the game and adds a whole new level of depth.
Its cool but I want to see online supported in ElSemi’s emulator.
Welcome to 1997.
God, you have to pre-play the match in your head 2 seconds before anything happens. If a Hugo wants to empty jump 360, you better press up when he’s at the peak.
The first time I played it worked (default video settings, windowed, no frameskip), but now it’s keeps saying I’m lagging, causing it to desynch. Do fullscreen and automatic frameskip make it worse or something? I thought they were supposed to help.
Automatic Frameskip made it better for me, but really I couldn’t notice the difference between full screen and otherwise. I think both parties absolutely need to have a decent computer. I’ve actually played a couple games where I almost completely forgot I wasn’t in front of my TV playing the Dreamcast version. I came in with a vert and I’d get parried just like in real life. Parrying requires good timing, so it was running at almost it’s real speed.
Anyways, fast computers + under 40ms of lag = good games. That’s my experience atleast.
yep.
Anybody want to answer our question from before about that zbuffer thing, we are desperate for an answer since we can’t play it?
I mean how new of a PC, or requirements, do you have to have to play CPS3?
