The mods are having a fit with the whole emulation thing right now. so much as asking where to go to find the emulator and even how to get it working.
I would take the link to the site where it says “Download the emulator here” out before you get banned yo.
Recap post or not. I don’t think the mods want that link in there. Heck one of them said you can’t even post a “pm me for link” type of post here.

If I may, here was a law passed about a year and a half ago that might be construed as legalizing roms and emulators. I’ll have to go dig it up, but it got the ESA (formerly IDSA) to back waaay the heck off of rom sites. Have to go do some research. Anyhoo, back to the fun stuff!
Regarding Shade / Sabre 's discussion of the law . . . if there’s one thing I learned in law school, it’s that just reading the statute is not enough.
For instance, 117(1) was intended to apply to copying software off of disk and into ram, a step thats required to use almost any software. There’s a big leap from that to downloading CPSIII romsets that you didn’t actually copy yourself . . .
Also note that the DMCA criminalizes the act of circumventing access controls (i.e. encryption), regardless of whether you own a copy.
I’m not trying to stir this up again, just saying that things aren’t that simple: bottom line, to be safe you should ask a lawyer about your specific situation.
