wow going great in nebula going really smooth, 3rd strike aint running for me though.
III: New Generation runs great for me. Few graphical flaws, but far less than Warzard and JoJo (the two I really wanna play).
Howcome your laptop can’t run Nebula? Is it just down to the specs?
don’t know. when i try to run it and load it up, it looks like it’s going to work and then windows goes: “emulator.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.” stupid windows. :mad:
oh well, hopefully mame will release the final version soon. can’t stand the wait.
i’m getting the same error on my mac running bootcamp, i think it’s because of the portable video card drivers, which nebula probably doesn’t recognize. it works right on my other lapto which uses a ati x700 though.

yeah, that’s definitely it then i guess, because i also have an intel chipset for the video card

Look, just close the thread, and ban all emulation talk of any kind. Thread’s pointless, if you cant even discuss emulation in detail.
My opinion? You guys are stepping out of your boundary. Emulation talk is not illegal in itself. It’s only the act of passing around illegal roms (not all are illegal anymore, mind you). You knew where this was going, prior to the beta emu being dropped. There are no legal CPS3 roms. lol
If you ban people talking about their computer specs, problems with emulators running on certain hardware, then where does it end? Where’s the line?

I thought the point of Tech talk was: “Talk about hardware, joysticks, emulators/roms, computers, new technology such as HDTV, and anything else that is cool.” as it says on the top. So why was hecz and Shad0wz banned? I didn’t see them distributing or asking for roms.
They didn’t. If I were them, I’d take it up with an admin outside of these forums. I’ve got their back.
shade: if you have a problem with the way we handle things, you are more then welcome to leave. the point being is, emulation is a VERY touchy subject. we have an obligation to keep this site as LEGAL as possible. even many emu sites operate it the same way.
read the rules and read what i said. ANY DISCUSSION on how to OBTAIN roms, bios’ (AKA copyrighted material) and/or how to get it to work is not gonna be tolerated. if you have any sense, you would understand our side to keep this place completely legal. and i will do what is neccessary to keep it that way.
like i said, if you have a problem with it, you dont have to be here. talk about emulation all you want, and actually talk about the games. emulation programs have not been deemed illegal(yet). jsut dont discuss how to obtain, or even hint how to obtain(ie “send me a pm for help”) or tell/ask how to make illegal files how to work.
i dont think it can be any clearer. the thread was fine until the emu got released and people started asking about help on roms and such. and thats where it ends. and the mods/admin reserve the right to ban if such actions are made. it gets really old having to re-iterate this every time an emu thread is made.
bottom line, just dont do it. take it somewhere else.
