Dunno if it has been mentioned before, but I would be all for displaying the damage and stun numbers of the attacks as they hit (or do chip) like they do in MKX or even Infinity Blade, and also show in numbers the actual health and stun at any moment. Knowing without error who has the life lead when the timeout is near or if you are one combo away from getting dizzy without any ambiguity is invaluable information for the player. It is worth killing the small excitement that the watchers may get from the unpredictability.
SFxT with a smaller color selection would be nice, not a larger one! That and some way to turn off custom colors so you don’t have to see every garish Ken out there
Too bad we don’t get to see the victory poses of characters in between the rounds. Most of the awesome animations in SFIV were wasted thanks to being able to skip them. I’d like them to show us the full animations in SFV.
You know how when you’re just watching there’s this Netscape globe constantly spinning?
Can we not have anything like that? I don’t need to know it’s online, I know it’s online. I navigated the menus to get there, I joined/created the room I can’t enjoy watching it when that mesmerizing AOL era icon is spinning. If they must inform me I’m online don’t make the icon move!
damn son 9 years on SRK and you evidently don’t actually play fighting games. trust me, you’ll have seen enough of a character’s winposes after a single session of playing
Believe me, I do play fighting games. I just don’t play it like the average SRK gamer who only focuses on the technical aspects of the game. I do care about character interactions and development, storyline, stage designs, music etc. in my fighter. That’s why I made this thread. How does this equal to me not playing fighters? Besides, 2 seconds of victory ceremony in a match is no big deal for me.
It is for some of us. That win animation (which can take more than 2 seconds) wastes a good amount of time at tournaments when both players just want to get beck into the next match of their set, or for TOs who want to move on to the next match.
