I don’t mind orange. I dunno, never really liked the whole “bright flash of an ex move” thing period. I think a new direction of some sort. Like a better audio cue or new visuals.
Well the character has no invincible specials, reversals, or strong wake up options. Giving him a teledash with a fraction of invincibility won’t break him. At the very least, it should visually change into a teledash for consistency. Right now it looks off and maybe even lazy.
True, but this is besides the point really. I am talking primarily consistency in visual aesthetics, not gameplay.
They should’ve adopted the teleport visuals completely I think for his back and forward dashes, and for his quick and back rise. If only for his V trigger and kept it normal outside of VT. However since they opted for a forward teledash outside of VT, it makes sense that they keep with the theme for his backdash at least.
I miss the music getting more intense as someone is abut to win, like in SF2. Also, I’d like for V-Trigger KOs to get flashy screens like the critical arts do.
Yea I like how the ex look like when they 1st showed off the game. The ink effect with the color that the Character is associated with. So basically the same effect as v trigger per character. Ken red, Bison purple, Chun blue, Ryu yellow.
What? SF4 stage themes do transition into different parts when a player gets low on life, same with SF5 stage themes. Do you mean making the characters themes change like the stage ones?
I, for one, don’t like it because it means the individual part of the themes get shorter and weaker.
The red sun screen on a critical art + vtrigger should REALLY be more varied, indeed. Maybe a white, shiny vacum screen with no music only with echo sounds?
SF is know by having a different art style in each game. SF5 does, but it kinda has this blue edge line post process that leave the game too close to SF4 and hinders the true power of Unreal Engine 4.
Some stage textures are REALLY low res. I know it’s still a beta but, in each build, I don’t see any clue that they might change it actually. So it’s better to ask for it now, please change those textures.
Ken and Vega faces doesn’t look good.
Hair shouldn’t be a solid mesh.
Alpha costumes for Ryu and Ken, please make their faces look younger as well.
I really hope they polish the graphics before the release…i.e. there’s a version of the game that we haven’t seen yet. Look at this: the clipping on Ken’s hair is shitty…part of his hair comes through his shirt
Yeah there is a lot of hair clippings, and a lot of strange shadows.
For example, Bison’s lower half is still incorrectly shadowed during gameplaybut this problem is fixed in the pre-order costume. I am very surprised that we are this far into the game and all these small things have yet to be fixed.
