Why would you want to do something with it?
So whats tasks general strategy?
I zone when I can but sometimes I need to rush down.
-Whats the best way to get in?
-Whats his best jump in
-Simple solo mixups?
-Your best approach would be 4C with assist cover, actually, almost any assist would do, but obviously assists such as Akuma will give you easier hit confirm for 2nd 4C S. Other then that, try to make an approach with j.C, or even j.6C 236C (arrows under you), it may work if you play against the free man.
As with most characters it depends on your angle. Best candidate will be j.C, 2 hits is also awesome for breaking super armor. j.S gives you more time to hit continue to combo, and may has more cross up potential.
No much, the usual tick throw stuff, since he can connect super out of them, but other then that there ain’t much. Notice that on some characters you can to instant overhead with j.L j.S, but i don’t think you can connect to any thing else from it with out some kind of assist.
4c? ins’t thad down forward h? What does that do?
4C would be <H. So it’s Shield Skills.
Thats why I hate guilty gear notation I always look at it as a clock instead of a numpad for some reason.
Lol not really sure it just always happens to me, btw stark did you make your icon or did you just happen to play the team shown because that is beautiful.
A fan drew it for me.
Damn that is really cool.
I use Taskmaster, Nova, Doctor Doom and when i lock them down with doctor dooms missles, i have no clue how to mix them up with Tasky. Im just wondering what are some ways to actually do some high/low mixups or something with Tasky when the opponent is locked down?
You can try to go for instant overhead with j.L j.S it will combo i think with Doom’s help. You should also hope real hard that the opponents is big enough
Task is really not a mixups character…
You can also jump with an instant j.:h: (which will whiff most characters), right before missiles hit, then either hit j.:l: before you land or go straight into a low.
Or you can also try to time the unblockable off missiles.
wouldnt instant j.M, j.H, j.S be better than instant j.L, j.S? and i really like that Duck Strong that High Low is pretty fast.
Yeah, right when task starts falling charge your arrows. For myself, I look at how many missiles are out at the time of the super flash: If it’s only 1 (and maybe 2), only go for 2 supers instead of 3.
PS: I know I didn’t follow Tasky stuff back in Vanilla as closely as I do now but, why don’t more Tasks footsie with 2B more? It was my first time really using it @ NCRX & omg that move opens up so well! He must have copied dhalsim or something… ( ‘_’)b

It’s exactly the shoto crouching medium kick from old games, he stole it from Ryu
It’s a good move but I prefer to use 5M for most spacing, that move is so godlike. But like, 2M is still great.
I dash in with 2M all the time. People never expect to be hit low from that far out, especially on wakeup.
My original vanilla MVC3 team was Deadpool a / Taskmaster a/ Doom b
After quite some time, I have finally decided to switch it up. Currently, I’m learning how to play Dormammu in conjunction with Doctor Doom/
I feel that Taskmaster / Dormammu / Doom can be a great team to use and it would be an improvement over my vanilla team.
But, my question is : What assist should I use for Doom?
Plasma Beam would provide cover for Taskmaster’s shield skills and be perfect for Dormammu’s teleport mixups.
On the other hand, missiles could lock down the opponent for some keep away options.
switch it up depending on team matchup and your playstyle preference.
if you like playing rushdown, use plasma beam. if you like playing keepaway use missiles. if you know that a team will be weak to keepaway with pressure that starts from the missiles use that, if they’re using sentinel drones or projectile assists to get in then use plasma beam as a hard counter to that.
taskmaster/dorm can work both ways and both assists allow both characters to extend their combos so it’s not a problem in that compartment either.
