Random damage info:
X-Factor level 1 increases his damage by 30%, level 2 by 60%, level 3 by 90%.
Legion Arrow is scaled by 0.98^(hits-1) and each arrow does 15,000 damage before scaling. Scaling stops at 0.4, or 0.5 during X-Factor.
Aegis Counter appears to ignore damage scaling. It is 10,000 per hit for 10 hits, then 50,000 per hit for 3.
His normals and specials stop scaling at 0.2, or 0.5 during X-Factor.
Delay your launcher until the last moment.
@Spooty
What attacks are you looping and what is the damage output?

Hey Spooty, once you iron out the kinks, can you make a combo thread? Or whoever really, Taskmaster board is really lacking one. There’s a whole board for you/us to use and there’s only 3 threads!
Also, if we could get some people to post match videos, I’d like to see how other people play him. My general strategy so far is to pester people with arrows until they get frustrated, then punish with the bnb. However, if someone is better at zoning than me, then my hand is forced, and I go all out offense, with varied results.
Well you have a few options, AMy’s cold shot assist keeps them locked down long enough for you to either double mighty swing over them, or charge up a H.DP+unblockable follow up (i dont know much about amy so thats all i know u can do with atat assist.
with zero, if He’s shadow mode and an assist, his sword beam, DP assist cause a good amount of blockstun
You could always use an low hitting assist and mighty swing xx High attack for unblockable damage, beware advance guards
Ok. After working with that loop for hours, I have decided that it is not an infinite. I could never get through 7 full loops. On the other hand, doing 6 loops deals 800,000 damage and builds like 3 meters. Unfortunately, it’s really hard to do. I’ll post a video of it sometime over the weekend, but it’s nothing to worry about/learn.
On a cool side note, you can actually tack 2 loops on the end of the BNB for extra damage…but again, it’s really hard.
EDIT: If you could pull off the loops at the end of the BNB, then you could probably do enough damage (with some supers) in order to kill almost all the characters.
DOUBLE EDIT: I am not saying, for 100%, that it isn’t an infinite, but I cannot keep it going. IF it is possible, then it would take desk-like execution.
Okay, I started messing with this guy today and since there isn’t an organized combo thread, here is my B&B for 770k:
c.l, c.m, s.h, f+h, j.h (1-hit), qcf+m (3-hit), s.h, f+h, j.h (1-hit), qcf+m (2-hit), c.m, s.h, b+h, S, j.m, j.m, j.h, s, OTG arrows xx super.
Does the standard one I see referenced around here do (much) more than that? I’ve already committed it to muscle memory, and I think it looks cool, so I’ll stick to it unless I’m missing out on a lot of damage.
Also, I’m going to take a wild stab that the loop you’re talking about is b+h, s, j.s, otg arrows xN? I came across it in my training mode session today. Somewhat hard, but perfectly doable in real match play I think. Only been working on this dude for a couple of hours so I haven’t got real consistent at tacking it on the end of my B&B, and I haven’t finished off with super yet 'cause I wanna try to get 3+ reps (though I think it’s unlikely), so don’t know the real damage…
Heh funny, I found a loop today too in training mode after putzing around with stuff. Ended up at around 780k utilizing 1 meter to end it.
Wonder if it’s the same thing spooty’s doing. I definitely didn’t get 6 reps though, more like 3 and it’s corner only so probably not
can you guys hand over the secrets, lol??
The user and all related content has been deleted.
Na, the loop I found works anywhere on the screen.
I really want to post a vid, but I hurt my right hand yesterday. Maybe I’ll try to beat it out tonight.
Isn’t that what she said?
I played a similar team, and the only thing I found is to either super jump to avoid the spot entirely, or to shield bash through the drones, and wesker usually whiffs since his teleport isn’t homing.
Btw, you should be able to block both. You block the character, not the assist, and you’ll end up blocking everything. Blocking is still a shitty spot though.
And I have a terrible time poking at Wesker, he simply destroys me. So many areas to improve…
Yep wesker’s teleports (and to a lesser extent Dante’s) rape me.The only thing I have to save me is my lariat Haggar assist.
I handed over my secrets!
b+h, s.S, j.S, falling qcf+c. Repeat xN!
I hear there’s also a standing loop with qcf+L arrows? Dunno…
If you’re going to post about a combo, you could at least say what it is…
Kryian had it right. I didn’t think I needed to post it too.
EDIT – For those who don’t visit the video thread:
Taskmaster combo dealing 911k damage using only 1 Hyper and no xfc. You’ll see an OTG loop at the end of the combo, you can actually repeat this more times if it is done earlier in a combo. I’ve gotten 6 loops after doing it off of: cr.M, cr.H, b+H, S, sj.S

Video quality is bad.
EDIT TO ADD ANOTHER VIDEO.
This Taskmaster combo shows how to OTG re-launch an opponent without an assist.

Beautiful comboes. Thanks for this revelation.
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but Tasky can launch off his air throw the same way. Air throw, 3 vertical arrows, b+H (or L,M,H etc), S then standard air combo.
Also, I notice he has a hard time getting close to certain zoning teams. I find cancelling an air mighty swing into H arrows helps alot. For some reason, when you cancel the swing into arrows, he keeps his momentum and covers a fair distance. If you do a slight dash, jump, mighty swingxx vertical arrows, you’ll cover the whole screen and land on your opponents head after the arrows.
The Taskmaster players at the tournament were not that good they were missing his Mighty swing combo. I’m not that good and even I can hit that combo in my sleep on hit comfirm.
