Just for the sake of the anecdote though, all of my friends who’ve seen him seem to dig him.

the problem here is that Taskmaster is limited in what moves he can copy, unlike Rogue. Taskmaster can’t imitate superpowers, only human feats. He’d be copying mostly normals from other characters if he had a move like this.
In terms of alternate colors, he’s only got two left, since his first alt color is his original appearance’s scheme. Its also unlikely that we’ll get a reference to a character, given that there are at least two different types of color schemes that they can still use, aka that horrible looking red and purple scheme, and one based around his UDON look. Also, its particularly unlikely for a Hobgoblin reference due to the orange cape he’s got already for his first alt.
not sure if he will do as a assist character(unless his arrow assist is good or if he has one that makes him a good addition to the team)
I had actually forgotten that his earliest appearances had the orange cloak. It’s honestly a pretty dumb alternate if they decide to use it since the only thing different is that the cloak and cowl aren’t the same color.
something tells me
the taskmaster fans and modok fans will clash head on once the game launches…
lol that was epic!
These are his player 1 and player 2 colors. Player 2 is the orange cape one.

well they did decide to use Grey Modok as a alternate color and he didn’t look like that except on the cover of the comic
Not true. In the original printing he indeed had the white look, but after wards he became yellow for whatever reason. Dormammu had a similar thing going on.
i meant the modok with the grey face…
…Ohhhh. I thought you just misinterpreted the white one as gray. My bad. I’m not sure though it he was any different within the comic though.
Also, I suppose the topic got quite derailed.
It’s all G. We’ll get right back on track when we get new Tasky info (with only 3 weeks to go, it’s gotta be soon).
new reveals or some new TM Info
either way i’ll be okay
This. Bring it on, Capcom.
Some thoughts rewatching his reveal trailer:
-The ability to cancel into his counter hyper on reaction to a crossover counter is pretty awesome. Less so obviously if you know they’re using projectile assists for their crossover counter, but if you’re know they’re physical, it’s a free hyper anytime someone tries it to switch a blockstring character
For Bow hyper KFC bow hyper, I’m wondering if there’s enough time to dash in between them, if so it could set up some nice followups on the ground when they’re recovering from their knockdown state.
On the same note as above… using the bow hyper on the ground is too low for an OTG state, they lie down for a second then roll backwards… I’m thinking if they’re pushed into the corner and you’re close enough you might be able to do a TK bow hyper afterwards
though some of us will probably get too attached to a certain character to switch when we unlock taskmaster
Indeed, his Counter Super seems very quick, very painful. I wonder whose will end up more deadly, Tasky’s or Weskers. I wonder if it’s possible to followup Taskmaster’s counter without DHC’s/KFCs.
Should be possible, Deadpool has time to dash after Gun Hyper KRC into Cuttin’ Time. Same should apply for Taskmaster. Maybe even Hyper Arrows>KFC>Spidey Swing>Arrows or something?
Also seems likely. Damn, I need to see more of this guy.
X-23 stripes was only on the cover of a comic too.
did anyone watch yesterday’s episode of x-play when they heard they were gonna talk about MVC3 characters hoping it was akuma/taskmaster(for new info perhaps?)only to realize it was a old segment with phoenix and haggar
