Hmm I think the title should be something like “Villiany 101: Class is in session. Taskmaster Thread” or something like that. Goes well with the source material since he trains criminals to fight super heroes. Also since we are here to learn about Taskmaster, well there you go.

This Taskmaster threw me off because I only knew Deadpool + Taskmaster, where he’s a merc that uses guns. I remember when they both bodied the Thunderbolts, that was excellent.

Your right, I forgot Ken’s is a roll, I don’t play Ken much but yeah both throw types are Ryu,

The Forward Throw is Ryu’s Shoulder Throw but they start from the start animation and he finishes with a gun shot in the trailer. The Back Throw he calls it Judo Throw as you described, again he caps them with a Gun shot, thats his back throw, t hats seen iin video 2 versus the Hulk. Notice the detail they put in with his Hood being off as he lays on the ground.

Yeah considering jean has been dead for like 5 years now, as well as marvel’s reluctance to add characters that havent been relavant in comics but are fan are fan favs cough Eddie Brockcough. OF course its Jean! The OG cartoon is 15 years old guys. Things change. Than again I could be putting my foot in my in my mouth. Best way to prove it is another X-man tagging Phoenix in.

Plus, she’s listed as Jean Grey on both US and JP official sites.

Regarding Taskmaster… When I watched his trailer the first time, he semmed pretty “meh” to me.

Wrong there. They didn’t “retcon” everything about him, that was the first time they talk about his past. We didn’t know much about his past before this.

Also, most people thought it was one of the best books in awhile. It was fun and it gave Tasky deph and character development.

The thing about taking some random drugs to gain his ability is definitely new, it was always described as something he was just born with, he’s even been referred to as a mutant before. Plus the stuff about losing his memories is way out of left field, he’s had no problem discussing his past before hand. He was always described as just a guy with an interesting power, who decided to use it for financial gain after he graduated high school, which he thought would be best done by being a criminal. And that after he got done being a regular criminal he used the money to open his schools.
