Yeah considering jean has been dead for like 5 years now, as well as marvel’s reluctance to add characters that havent been relavant in comics but are fan are fan favs cough Eddie Brockcough. I think the character interaction at the beginning of that fighter is indicative of who Phoenix is.

There is a lot of potential coolness that could bed had by changing hood color etc but instead we get an orange cape.
And disappointed that I already made my MvC3 arcade stick with only Jill on it, now I want Taskmaster on there too!

The orange cape alt is the color scheme he wore when he first appeared in the comics. That’s probably why it’s in.
Counter hyper + projectile reflecting special + counter special is gonna be a fun mix.
