Yeah, lesson learned hopefully for the girl: don’t fucking step up without being able to accept potentially getting knocked the fuck back down. Girls do that shit way too much and pay for it. I know guys want to jump to their defense of “shouldn’t be beating on women”, but I mean really, if a guy throws a drink in your face in a bar or shoves on you, he’s getting his teeth knocked out and his skull stomped on. Women get off way easy when they do that shit, I’ve got a marine buddy who has been in a situation like that in a bar where the woman is all high and mighty because she can’t ever possibly get hit, throws drink/shoves. He responded by putting his hand on her face and shoving her flat on her ass. Where I’m from, that’s called getting off easy, had that been a guy, he would’ve been swallowing teeth.
So no, I don’t feel sorry for the girl or women that deliberately put themselves in these situations.
He fucked with her for too long, he should be dead. Put them down as fast as possible if you got something on them, especially if you’re surrounded like that.
In defense of the cop, you cannot corner a cop like that. That went from resisting arrest to 2 vs 1. People can turn violent within the blink of an eye. There’s no telling what someone will do when they’re excited…whether they be man, woman, martian, black, white, green, sober, drunk, etc.
In defense of the girl (resisting arrest), we don’t know all sides of the story. The girl who got punched in the face…this is what happens when you make emotional decisions and not logical ones.

I don’t think there is an argument to be made here since mostly everybody seems to agree that the girl was in the wrong. However, if some of you think that is excessive force than you guys haven’t seen shit. I have seen a cop slam a grown ass man so hard on concrete ground that the guy started bleeding from his mouth. He could have easily choked her or done something much worse.
excessive force = too much force for the situation. if the situation calls for MORE FORCE, than so be it. just because you’ve seen excessive force doesn’t mean it’s right.

As for all cops are thugs argument. Well I’ve seen plenty of good and bad ones so I guess it just average out like everything else in the world. However personal experience leads me believe there are more bad ones even if that might not be true. Rare I run into a cop that actually has some education after high school. Detectives, yes but street cops never.
how is one punch excessive force? That’s just force, plain and simple. He hit her, ONCE, to get her to stop attacking him. How is he supposed to know if she is dangerous, high, mentally unstable, etc??? His job is to protect and serve the public. He still has to ensure that HE is safe though. A badge and a uniform does not equal a punching bag.
