Being a cop is just like any other job. I’ve met no greater percentage of assholes who were cops than work in my office or make my dinner at a restaurant.

its anecdotal I know, but I never met a cop that wasn’t an asshole. I can’t say if it’s that mostly assholes are drawn the job or if it’s the job itself (dealing with the shittiest of shitty people/situations every single day) that turns them into assholes.

No, it’s not like that at all. Regardless of how you feel about cops, you KNOW there are certain things you just can’t get away with. There are certain lines you don’t cross in certain situations. Do you swing a baseball bat a cop when they pull you over? No. You exercise your rights in court. The same could have been done here. The difference is this incredibly stupid woman AND her friend threw all common sense out the window and decided to put hands on a cop. You just don’t do that shit.

Oh I get it, cops have to deal with shit. A lot of shit. Really BAD shit. It seems like a truly awful career. Who picks that kind of job willingly? Who chooses to wake up every morning, get dressed go to work and deal with crazy women attacking them for doing their job? Who puts themselves willingly in the position where you gotta punch a bitch out just to get your job done?

man, shitty deal. But you gotta realize that just cuz some cops ARE fucktards, that goes with any walk of life. I knew some great teachers, and some teachers that were such pricks that students actually injured them. I know some nice people that work at the grocery store, and I know some bitches that you just want to choke out.
Also, with groups, cops get panicky, and you can’t really blame them.

you have one cop by himself, he called for backup, and suddenly the person he is arresting starts ressisting, AND her friend starts attacking him. And all around him are more of these two girls friends, and some are even filming. Good luck to any of you in a situation like that.

called in for backup for a police assault,
forgotten about the jaywalker and follow the punch with a takedown and handcuffs on the bitch that shoved me, left her on the ground, and then proceed to take down the jaywalker for resisting arrest, and throw her ass on the concrete too.
They could have just gotten a jaywalking ticket, but they decided they wanted to go to jail instead.

Well, not to get overly analytical, but for one, people usually don’t have to deal with cops unless they’re in the wrong. That’s why most people don’t like them. It doesn’t help that a large amount of the police out there seem to be cocks, but that’s really beside the point. Second, cops are people too. I know most people don’t want to think that shit, but it’s true. The guy at a call center for AT&T HATES hearing that mother fuckers didn’t actually go over their minutes. No no no no, it’s AT&T or Verizon or whoever that’s trying to rip them off. I would venture to say that 99% of the people out there will NOT take responsibility for 99% of their own fuck ups. Nobody wants to admit that they fucked up, especially to a cop. Just think, you and me would hate hearing the same excuses from people time after time. You don’t think it’s the same for cops? I’ve gotten OUT of more trouble with cops by saying “Yo, I fucked up. That’s my bad” rather than doing dumbshit, like that stupid bitch in the video.

i got busted smoking a bowl with some buddys outside a strip club by a cop, and i just apologized to him and informed him that i was on my way home. Didn’t get a ticket, didn’t get charged, nothing. If you’re nice enough to a cop, you will usually get away with shit, they really do NOT want to do paperwork.
