The woman apologizes to the Officer.

Again, this is you not understanding the facts. The officer wasn’t arresting anyone. He initially was going to issue a citation and be on his way. He was trying to detain one of the girls after she did not comply with his verbal commands and then the situation escalating when she resisted, and then her friend jumped in and started to shove/grab him.

EDIT: Next time you’re standing in front of a cop, do something blatantly against the law. After the officer tells you to stop, don’t. When the officer tries to detain you, resist. After you resist, shove him. Then see what happens.

Looks like she’s pinned against the police car with his hands all over her the video starts. Concerned pedestrians watch and her friend jumps in and pushes him then he retaliates with a punch. The cop clearly didn’t know how to handle the situation and made it worse. I’m not saying the girls are in the right, just that the cop is an idiot that doesn’t have the proper training to deal with a situation like this.

Oh, if only I could find that youtube video of a guy getting a citation for cursing at a cop and giving him the finger on a dare…fools don’t realize you don’t give the police a hard time.

you wanna see cops being dicks, look at some of the videos of skaters who got harrassed by em. And for the last time, nobody was getting ARRESTED for jaywalking. She was being given a citation for ignoring a cop when he asked her to stop.

Damn the nappy headed hoe apologize…Damnit i want blood!

Anyway, there has only been 1 citation since the incident happen. They pulled over a 55 year old woman using a cane  According to reports there has only been 4 accidents in the past 10 years in that location.

doesn’t need to be accidents for it to be a bad street. Like others who live there have said, when you drive down there, you literally have to stop your car so you don’t hit groups of people just strolling through the street.

Definitely sounds like those jaywalkers caused mass chaos.

we all win when those two groups of tards start fighting.

Oh, boo the fuck hoo. Over-privileged idiots thinking that “No Skateboarding” signs don’t apply to them. Cry me a river. Then look at all the vids of these idiots getting hurt in places where they shouldn’t be boarding. The signs are there to hopefully prevent that, and to cover the building owners/businesses when it DOES happen. I’ve never seen a cop harass a boarder for skateboarding someplace he should.

So what do YOU think should be done? Do you think skaters should have the right to screw around in parking buildings, and on businesses steps/staircases, and at bus terminals, then have the ability to sue these places for their medical bill when they make the next cut of Red, White, And Bruised All Over?

I’m not really understanding the arguments for “It was just jaywalking”. It’s still illegal, though not severe. The person who refuses to acknowledge law enforcement that is trying to handle the issue only causes the shit to snowball into much more serious things. It’s the same for a simple traffic stop, depending on how you handle the situation, vyou’ll leave with a warning, ticket, or take a ride downtown.

Huh?

Because it’s a law simply because it generates revenue for the city. If it were actually about helping citizens then they wouldn’t worry about it on an intersection with 4 accidents within the last 10 years. I’m not condoning the chick’s actions, but the cop didn’t know what he was doing.

You wanna back up the “tard” thing? Did you have a problem with my post deriding irresponsible skateboarding (and hopefully a thought-out opposing view), or do you just have a problem with people who feel rules, no matter how dumb, are to be followed, since they usually don’t cause any skin off your back or excess effort?

If your not a bitch, you can hit her.

A year and half ago I lived in that area and almost hit people with my car more than I’d like to admit.

Seattle cops are cool. I got pulled over drunk as shit with no license, registration, proof of insurance and expired tabs. Only got me for expired tabs that I was able to contest by gettting them 2 days later.

I called skaters tards… maybe I didn’t word that the best way.

Nah, that was my bad. i just read it wrong. Reading it again 2 more times, I realize that the tard’s on me. (mods, we need a “derp” smiley).

Women want equal rights, and a man would have definitely gotten punched in the face in the same situation. If anything, this is a victory for feminism.

Protip: Don’t grab hold of cops if you don’t want your ass beat.

i really hope the people defending the cop gets arrested for something stupid. like something thought related. like its illegal to think certain things.

id love to see you defending them then.

**I’ll put this very simple.
You jay walk <-- Illegal, against the law even if you don’t agree with the circumstances it’s the law.

Officer tells you to stop, you stop what you’re doing because his job is to uphold the law and it’s the law to listen to a police officer if you’re breaking the law.

So instead of stopping, she scuffles with the police officer which is already against the law just doing this to a normal person, let alone a officer telling you to stop for breaking the law.

Your friend out of nowhere assaults the officer, which like above is against the law.

The friend gets punched in the face for intervening with a arrest which is against the law, and is aiding a criminal who is scuffling with the police officer who’s just trying to do his job.

Now if for some reason you think these two punks who didn’t want to listen to the Officer because probably he’s “The Po-Po” or they have strong issues with being told what to do when it’s for the betterment of mankind than nothing will.**

What was the point to your post? Jie asked if this was police brutality or not. He didn’t asked is what the two girls did was right or wrong.

**As stated in my post, two women scuffling with a officer and one gives him a hard shuve and the officer retaliates with one punch.

Definitely not Police brutality.**
