Hello, i recently got the Hori fighting stick 3 for ps3(FS3) But doesn’t work on my pc (64bit).
I was looking at an adapter as i play all my fighting games on pc.
Will the XBOX 360 PS3 PS2 PC USB Universal Controller Adapter Converter Mayflash work with pc and my stick?
Heys id just like to say I recently got this and its for at least the time being getting my seal of approval. Much cheaper then trying to find those hard to find sega saturn usb ones(legit ones at least)… I know some people think that when I make all those crazy combo videos that I use programable controllers but I actually do use old beat up sega saturn pads. Ive been testing this one recently by doing mizoguchis infinite and im getting it pretty well. Ill have to play a friend to say for sure to see how my reactions are. But like I said for the time being this is getting a thumbs up for me. I dont think ive seen anyone else on srk actually say that they have went ahead and bought this so thought I should post something.
Nah not off hand like I said I tried it just with mizoguchis infinite/loop in karnovs revenge. And to my knowledge only me and one other japanese guy are the only people int eh world that can even hit that combo. So for the time being its gotta be at least pretty close. I wont know for sure till i find time to play a friend or something in it, to test reaction just to see how tight it is, or see how well my reversals are in a game like ST or something that has tighter timing. But for the time being im doing some tougher combos on it with out much problems. Ill make a video later tonight showing it. Deff a better alternative then trying to find real sega saturn USB controlers.
It’s just the HFS3 isn’t on the supported list so cause’s me concern, i also emailed the website and they said it’s not support (probably goin’ from spec sheets) they suggested that i get the PS360+ which a bit more expensive.
Hopefully someone out there has used this PCB before with HFS3
The dual board doesn’t bother me as you said it can be used on it’s own and since i only plan to use it on PC just need something that works on pc.
I’ve heard that the Xtokki doesn’t play nice with analog, and I haven’t really heard anything good about the second one. I’d prefer something that doesn’t require a 360 controller to already be plugged in.
When Mythbusters chopped a car apart and rebuilt it with only duct tape, yeah it worked fine in there closed course road tests (until it stalled on the off road test) but it is still a structurally unsound car held together with tape.
That still broke down. The Duct tape car worked fine, but it is far from street worthy and its not put back together very well.
The same thing with this POS aliexpress PS2 to Xbox 360 USB converter. I had the exact same converter, it died on me in 5 days of infrequent use. And it was far too much to ship back for the cost of the device and make a RMA claim.
Most Converters that crap out in a few weeks time have significant lag and/or have dropped inputs. And Even if they don’t have drop inputs or Lagm do you really want to buy a new converter every few weeks?
Get a converter that is proven to work well the first time. Things are cheaper for a reason.

Eh, I get your point, but when I say “fine” I mean “without any issues whatsoever”. The xtokki is probably exactly the same product in a different shell - the only reason no one’s singing this one’s praises is because no one cares about ps2 converters anymore. Plenty of xtokkis have died.
When mine craps out, I’ll come back and whine though
I don’t believe that converters that require an additional controller are actually using it to send the inputs. Rather it’s a one time thing to bypass M$ security. Someone please correct if I am mistaken.
