I just got a SFAC (8v). In the 1st link from Kyle, the link’s broken b/c it’s an old eBay auction thus I can’t see the pic. George also said the cables4pc brand is no longer manufactured…Does anybody know where I can get a ps2-to-ps3 adapter that works w/the 8v version of the SF4AC stick? Will any of the 2-port ps2 adapters work or is there a specific one (besides Cable4pc)? Also, pics would be great if possible thx!
Sorry for the broken link. The 8V PCB is evil. When I had one it didn’t work with any of the converters I owned. I ended up swapping it with a Tekken 5 PCB. Any advice you get will have to come from another forum member.

Anyone?!? Would rather spend ~$10 on an adapter instead of $30 on a new [COLOR=#000000]Cthulhu PCB.

What’s wild is the cables4pc closed their eBay account. They had 160k feedback and were registered since 03.
Ok, I’m confused…you don’t own a PS3 yet you bought & tried all those converters? Only thing I can think of is b/c you’re using it on a PC?
Just bought 2 HVG2’s from Fry’s & both didn’t work!!! Sigh…
The joystick, start button works & whatever other button you press 1st will work once…& that’s it, nothing else! Now, I’m debating if I should go through w/getting all the upgraded parts (Happ stick, buttons, plugs, wrench tool & Cthulu) for ~$65 (in addition to the cost of a brand spanking new SFAC I got earlier in the week) or just sell the SFAC & get an AIAB that I orginally wanted. Decisions, decisions, decisions…

I don’t really have high expectations,
but it’s worth a shot to get my 360 sticks to work on PS3.

Or post a WTB MAS stick if you want more weight. I just got an SFAC off of ebay and damn is it light compared to my full size MAS.
However I do like having more palm space on the SFAC.
Not about the weight. Really do like the palm space of the SFAC. Besides, I don’t like the design of a MAS.
Most of the reports in the first post are from other members. Many of them are my own.
Not worth the chance. These reportedly do not work well with sticks. If there was a good 360/PS3 converter people would be all over it.
You’ll need to crack it open and replace the PCB. There isn’t going to be a path from Dreamcast to 360. The best you can hope for us is USB/PC.
What exactly does that mean? I’m completely new to this area of customizing. I plan on converting my Dreamcast stick as a preparation before Art releases his full plexy cases. I have no idea what I need in order to create a functioning stick (as far as PCB stuff goes). Any advice on what I’d need to do in order to convert my Dreamcast stick, or what I would need to get and put in Arts case in order to use it for 360 would be awesome.

I´d like to know it also, i have bought one of this adapter, hands off yet. I wish to try the SATURN USB PAD (compatible with ps3) on xbox 360 with this adapter. Has anyone tested it already?
