Sorry KnightWarrior, I sincerely doubt there exist any converter out there that has the button mapping you’ve got. Everything else does it like the converter you own. Even my converter does it like that.
i realize people are mostly interested in sticks working with converters, but i decided to hook my Logitec wireless ps2 pad up to my ps3 via my inpin adapter, and it worked just fine… i dont think the “mode” button works as intended though (normally it swapped the d-pad and analogue stick around). but everything as far as i could tell was working flawlessly.
Any chance of adding whether or not an adapter has PC compatibility specifically? My HAIS doesn’t work on my PC. =(
Well as expected the word Madcatz plays merry hell with search attempts here and this controller isn’t covered in the origional post so I’ll just out and post this.
After rummaging around my stuff looking for a usb extension cable I’ve found an old Madcatz ps2 pad and I’m wondering whether it’ll work with the Cube Joybox Pro and the BlazePro ps2 to 360 converter.
It is a Madcatz Dual Force Controller for PlayStation
Item # 8026
Has anyone had any experience withthe pcb of this?
I’ve noticed that it’s neither been confirmed or denied as being compatible with any of the adapters so I’m a little confused.
Does anyone know if it is possible or if there is a converter to use a keyboard for input on a 360? I’m a PC player and have always played fighters on keys and I cannot use or learn to use a pad to save my life. I don’t want to have to completely re-learn SFIV to be able to play SSFIV.
^You could try this http://gizmodo.com/223963/xcm-xfps-xbox-360-keyboardmouse-adapter-in-action
But the company that makes them seems to be getting a rather bad rep for their other adapters, so you may be better off building a stick with a set of buttons linked up to the d-pad rather then going with that.
Hmm, I had seen this but I wasn’t sure if it could be custom mapped like is demonstrated in those videos, it’s kind of pricey for what it is too.
I guess if there’s no alternative I’ll give it a shot eventually.
A few days ago I asked if the PS2 rj45 cable would work with a converter, answer was no, cool, great, excellent.
What about the GCN one? or the XBOX1 one (SNAKE EYES!!) or the USB (be it the rj45 cable or the default 360 one)?
since the orginal xbox can be usb’d can u plug it into a ps3? if it’s already answer pls link me. i read the first 10 pages and it just got tiring
Yeah, this topic die or what?
As far as I’m concerned, none of the Multi-Console Cthulu consoles work with converters. For one, what would you need a converter for a Gamecube or Xbox 1 for anyway? The only converters they ever made for those that were worth any salt and didn’t have issues were all from GC/Xbox 1 to USB and the MC Cthulu board already has stuff for USB, i.e. the PS3 part of it.
No, you can’t plug in an Xbox 1 controller with a USB dongle and have it work on a PlayStation 3. The Xbox 1 controllers required drivers to function on a PC, so they’re not HID compliant. If they were, they could be used on a PS3 just like the USB Sega Saturn pads, but they’re not,
Ha! You wish!
No I don’t wish, and I was kinda hoping to use the PS2 to classic controller adapter and maybe even one for DC.
Truth be told, unless your playing some SNK compilation like Samurai Shodown or Metal Slug Anthology, you don’t need to use the PlayStation 1/2 to Classic Controller converter. The Gamecube part of the Multi-Console Cthulu works perfectly fine for any game you’d want to play on the Wii. It’s probably harder to find a game on the Wii that you’d want to play with an arcade stick that DOESN’T support the GC controller than it is to find those that do. So Smashbro29, rest easy; you’re all set.
Yeah I know.
I’m just getting ridiculous wanting EVERY console ever made to work, I was kinda hoping converters would do that.
thank you igaki, i thought the xbox1 pads were plug & play
I tested the Wii Classic Controller to PC USB Adapter with my hori turbo wii classic controller and nintendo classic controller. Both of them work fine able to change modes with home buttons and R/L. With the drivers able to remap and configure some stuff.(Driver interface remind me of PC 3 in 1 Magic Joybox :chat: ). I dun have a classic pro controller to test with i guess it should work fine.
I dun have much time to test Classic Linker N64 with my wii. I have no ideas which games i can test with since it support rumble as stated. Few days back my usb N64 retroport just came in as well work great with my 3rd party N64 controller with rumble tested.
By the way i using a japan wii i do have some wii points to grab some N64 games off the wii shop. Any suggestions ? :chat:
So I just got a Nubytech Street Fighter Anniversary Collection stick, it didn’t work with my USB Ps2->computer adapter. My other Ps2 controllers work fine, and it works really well on PS2, but when i plug it into the converter it doesn’t do anything.
Can i get some help with this?
Yeah apparently some sticks have something different in them so converters don’t work so great.
Pain in the ass for me until they get DC working on an MC.
Just adding on, the adapter i used was the radio shack USB adapter. Does this change anything, along with it being a bald zangief on the SFAC stick.
OMG, please check out some of the zelda games on GC with the Classic Linker… ive been heavily considering getting one, because i HATE using the GC controllers for the N64 zelda games (the c-stick annoys the fuck out of me for C-buttons)
