anybody try this one? I just got it and it randomly stops working and I have to unplug it then plug it back in. did I just get owned by not buying an inpin? (I totally forgot…)
using ps1 dualshock pad with it.
I came across this while searching for something for N64. :wow:
Wonder is there any converter close to this, most of the ones i found most of them do not support rumble function.
I was doing some searching on Blazepro and wanted to ask if anyone tried these (PS2 to Wii converter):

Is there any adapter to use PS3 controller on Xbox360 and /or PS2?
I have a PS3 HRAP3 and would like to use it on Xbox360 and PS2
I want to use the HRAP 3 on PS2 myself.
If only it was easy to find HRAP 2!
IMO it is the most compatible one
IIRC the pinouts for NES and SNES controllers are the same, so you could actually hack off the end from a NES controller, put an SNES end on it, and have it work. I did it when I got my brother a RetroDuo so he could use an NES controller with NES games (since the system only has SNES slots), and the controller works in SNES mode as well.
Yep, there’s a YouTube video floating around for this. It seems pretty straightforward. I want to go the opposite direction (SNES to NES) but haven’t gotten around to it.
Those ‘every old console’ to Wii adapters are awesome. Are they doing the same for USB? I just got a pair of SNES and NES usb converters from RetroZone.
Sorry to say, but unless you can give us an image or name, it’d be hard to help you out. As far as I’m concerned, any USB converter that was made within the last 5 years should work on Windows Vista and 7 just fine. I’m running an old EMS PlayStation 2 to USB converter right now on my Windows 7 laptop and my inPin PlayStation 2 to PlayStation 3 converter from laugh DEFINITELY works. So I think you’ll be fine if you get yourself a converter for PC use. The question is how well it will work which is really only determined by testing it out. If they’re as cheap as you claim, then I’d say go for it and report your findings to us here.
Yeah, I think you might’ve had a bad purchase there SNAAAAKE. If you’re using a PlayStation 2 DualShock 1 pad with your converter, then you should have no problems if you buy and switch over to laugh’s inPin. The man is a real pleasure to deal with and you won’t be disappointed with the inPin. Trust me! I’ve got 2!
Gotta tell you Rieru, the Nintendo 64 Adaptoids are INSANELY RARE, but they’re SO GOOD. They’re lagless which is the most important and while some other converters for the N64 to PC are as well, the Adaptoid also has custom hardware and software which does indeed support rumble function AND lets you back up gamesaves from your N64 Memory Paks onto your PC. It’s basically the greatest converter that any console has ever gotten for PC usage. Problem is, they’re like I said, INSANELY rare and oftentimes, you’re going to have to be willing to steel your wallet and give up a small fortune to get one (~$100-$140 is what I usually see).
I don’t think though that there is a converter that supports rumble for the N64 as of yet. The Adaptoid I think was the only one of its kind. :xeye:
Nice find psychochronic. Since it’s the Blazepro brand, if their quality of converter is anything like their PlayStation 2 to Xbox 360 converters, I don’t think we have to worry about this one! There’s a surprising lot of demand for PS2 to exclusively Wii converters though. I wonder why? :wonder:
It probably could, but considering that it’s just a generic converter, the quality is up in the air. I personally would save up a little more to buy a Cube Joybox Pro since those work just fine for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
Sorry to say TrancJay, but there’s no working converter in existence that does PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 2. And all PS3 to Xbox 360 converters are questionable in terms of reliability and lag. The best option to get your Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 working on an X360 would be to dual mod it which isn’t actually that bad and you can ask someone to mod it for you. Same deal with PS2 support actually.
Now that’s neat! I didn’t know you could do this drunkninja42. I’ll have to remember this since my friend’s always telling me about how he wishes he could use his NES Advantage on his Super Nintendo. I have no clue why though. :wasted:
Kyle, you won’t have to worry about a thing. The RetroZone SNES and NES to Gamecube and USB converters are very reliable and definitely lagless. My friend has two of them, one of which I borrowed for a LONG time to play Gundam Wing: Endless Duel with him via ZSNES netplay. I don’t remember what the lag tester results were, but they were well within acceptable values.
I also wish there was a converter for Xbox 360 to PS2. Would make it a hell of a lot easier to play fighting games from both gens, seeing as there are still alot of games still played/only available on PS2.
Brian from RetroZone is a very cool guy. I have the NES and SNES PowerPaks as well. It’s all silly expensive but IMHO it’s more fun than using an emulator.
Not that I look for them, but I’ve only seen one Adaptoid for sale that I can recall. It was at least $100.
I agree with the PowerPak statement. I’m running flashcarts for the Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS right now and not only are they better replacements for emulators (especially for handhelds; you can’t play this stuff on a keyboard!), but they’re VERY neat for homebrew apps and programming as well. I’ve done some fun stuff with my NDS by programming homebrew for it.
I must admit myself that I think the Nintendo 64 Adaptoids are going for WAY more than they should. I can understand that they’re rarer than the Pelican PlayStation 2 to PlayStation 3 converters, but still, $100.00 is a bit steep for mine or hell, anyone’s wallet to be honest, even if they are the greatest converters of all time relative to the controller they were built for.
Saw another one Dreaming of it anyway i lived in asia there isn’t much chance for me to grab one of these.
Think i will go for retrousb stuff
Found some reviews here.
Looking forward to Classic Linker N64 since is able to change the mode and rearrange/remap buttons.
I would highly recommend throwing some monies in his direction. He is similar to Toodles in that he’s a guy doing this because he loves the stuff.
Question: What’s the best PS2 to GCN converter?
I just got Mega Man Anniversary collection and they messed up the control so bad I really wanna play it properly.
Cube JoyBox Pro
How does it all work out with the buttons?
What does A go to? ETC ETC.
EDIT: I looked it up this isn’t gonna solve my Mega Man problem.
I’ll just get it for XBOX or PS2.
Excuse me if this has already been addressed earlier in the thread, but I have a USB/PS2/PS3 stick and I can’t get it to work with PS2 games played on my PS3. If I bought a PS2-to-PS3 converter and used the PS2 controller end on the stick, would it it work? Works fine for PS1 games on PS3 strangely enough…
Probably. What stick is it?
