I’ve read on another site that the XFPS is no longer recognized by the 360 after the 28 oct system update… anyone used a blazepro or xconverter since running the update?
the xconverter still works, was using my namco a little while ago on live. if i knew where my blazepro was i’d test it real quick but i don’t =\
Thanks for the info zeetes. I’ve got the blazepro so I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
How do you find the vibration support on the xconverter? I’ve got a wheel I’ve been using with the blazepro for forza - no rumble support with blazepro unfortunately. If vibration is half decent on the xconverter i’ll pick one up.
Link me please. I wonder if this was the victim of the Datel memory card update.
I started the thread over at the XIM forums.

I have a XFPS Sniper (green) that is now blocked.
Kyle, thanks for the previous post. I googled for the datel issue and i think that must be it.
Maybe a blazepro or xconverter will be a quick fix for this? Kind of like daisy chaining the devices?
Yeah, I bet that’s what it is. The update was supposed to disable unauthorized hardware.
Holy hell that XIM is expensive. I would be all kinds of pissed off if the 360 converters were gimped though. I use an Xconverter and Blaze to have two Namcos connected.
$$$$$$$ Anyone to make some money. Get at me. I need a converter for a dreamcast stick to xbox 360. If you have one. I will pay you wellll for it.
or
If you have a 360 stick with a perfect 360 stick on it with the standard arcade button set up. No cheap plastic shit.
If you wanna get rid of your stuff GET AT ME ASAP.
I use a Yobo adapter for SFAE sticks for PS2 to PS3
The only 360 converters are for PS2. There are Dreamcast to USB, but that won’t work on the 360 unfortunately. You’ll need to swap the PCB with a 360 controller’s guts.
I have a falcon xbox 360, updated to the latest update on Tekken 6, never been on live:
1.) Xfps 3.0 sniper plus (banana colour one) + latest revision of msoft xbox wired controller + namco stick = All good (plus xfps cons)
2.) Blazepro + latest revision of msoft xbox wired controller + namco stick = All good
End of report.
Sorry for being to lazy to skim 37 pages, just need to know if the official rockband guitar works as a MS controller for the xconverter? thx
yobo adapter working for ps3 or not? i have a 7.5v sfac arcade stick.
Good to hear.
Thanks!
I can understand not wishing to read through 37 pages of information and reports but when the information you’re looking for can be readily found in the first post, that’s a sign that you probably didn’t even read a word of this thread minus the title. :nono:
Specifically, you’re going to want to read my post here for information.
If you really are so much against clicking on a link and spending maybe a minute or so reading, then here’s the quick and dirty version. It depends; is your guitar wireless or wired? I assume it’s wired and if so, it’ll work. Else, you’re gonna have to plunk down some cash for a wired controller.
Just wanted to chime in with the Tototek PS2 -> Saturn converter, it’s worked great with my HRAP2SA and MC Cthulhu sticks just fine.
Only problem is the fairly odd button layout:
X - /
Y - L1
Z - R1
A - []
B - X
C - O
L - L2
R - R2
I only tested out MSH vs. SF & Vampire Savior, and in those games you cannot map the normals to L or R. However, if your stick has QDs and opens up with minimal effort, simply swapping the signal lines for L1 and R2 will give you a proper 6-button layout.
Ah damn it, so it looks like the green XFPS Sniper (non plus) I have is the only one that doesnt work.
possible fix?
Hmmm…seems like you need to get the older versions of the microsoft wired controller to get that to work ( cant remember exactly the model number), its detailed on the xcm website I think… or you can try a 3rd party controller, like mad katz ones??
Edit: Found some more info for you regarding the green version, http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-eq-49-en-70-2c8a.html
yobo adapter working for ps3 or not? i have a 8v sfac arcade stick.
I know this thread is mostly used for good arcade stick adapters, but lately ive been wondering if there is a good N64 to Gamecube adapter.
so far google shows: http://www.raphnet.net/electronique/gc_n64_usb/index_en.php
this site, which seems like it could work, but im just checking to see if anyone happens to have something they used (looking to play a bit easier on virtual console things)
That’s N64 to USB. Someone may eventually make one for GameCube for Wii usage. I haven’t seen one yet. These would be the guys to watch:
