Converter Compatibility Thread

cue16, what kind of PlayStation X PCB are you using? PlayStation 1 Digital Pad? PS1 DualShock 1? PlayStation 2 DualShock 2? Some third party one like a Mayflash or a Hori Real Arcade Pro PCB? Also, what kind of wired controller are you trying to use as a bypass controller? And have you read the troubleshooting FAQ I included in my post?

Get back to us with your results cue16. Let’s hope you got a dud or something because these converters seriously freaking ROCK. :smokin:

HRAP 2 and xbox360 retro controller pcb. I will read thru your trouble shooting guide now…I never knew it existed…thx!

I finally ordered a pair of ToToTEK PS -> Saturn converters. Saturn pad is okay, but it still can’t touch playing with a stick.

Back to the XConverter 360. I’ve begun preliminary tests with the converter on TEKKEN 6 (X360).

Will finalize my review and release it VERY soon.

(Yes I was waiting for TEKKEN 6).

i have a question. why is the TAC the only ps2 to ps3 adapter listed as compatible with 2.8? is this just because the rest havent been updated as compatible or is it really the only one that works? i have a sfac 3.5v btw.

Has anyone had any issues with PS1 digital pads on the Xconverter 360?

OK i have a Xbox 360 TE Stick and i want to use it on a Ps3. What are my options if there are any?

i dunno why u guys are paying $50+ for pelican adapters. i just found them selling for $18 shipped. http://product.half.ebay.com/_W0QQcpidZ1383282605QQprZ64381337

i wanted to buy an inPin adapter but i couldn’t get a hold of laugh but i guess pelican is just as good anyways, cheaper too. hopefully i can get in touch with laugh so i can buy one of the xconverter 360 adapters.

that is not a pelican bro, read the description carefully “PS2 TO PS3 CONTROLLER CONVERTER BRAND AND COLOR WILL VARY”, that doesnt sound like you’ll get a pelican

the product code is the same though

yeah it is but he worded his description like that because you will not be getting a pelican. As far as i can tell pelicans only came in black

Cthulhu board

wow well that sucks. ill be pretty pissed if i dont get one as advertised. ill mail it back to the address covered in my dong.

thanks for the reply but isnt there any other way because I dont know how to mod an arcade stick and I fear that I well break it or something.

The only way you’re getting a 360 stick to work on a PS3 is to put another PCB into it, be it a PS3 board or PS2 board and use a converter.

Man up and do it, or shut it.

So assuming the TvC Wii stick will use a Gamecube port, are there any decent GC to USB adapters? I’m sure as hell not buying a stick solely for Wii games, but I could use a second PC stick.

LOL man up, man i dont grow money and i dont have any experience dealing with circuits. It’s true that i wont learn until I try but hell as i said if i broke it, it would be hard for me to afford another one. Thanks for the tip and ill see what i can do about it and about “shut it” man up and grow up.

Trust me, it’s not nearly as hard as you think it would be. I’d never wired or soldered anything until just a few months ago. Now I don’t own a single joystick that I haven’t modded in some way/shape/form.

How about a Saturn to PC/PS3 Converter
